What monster from folk lore protects you

Banshee:

The banshee, is a creature from Irish Folklore. Though not inherently malevolent, it is said to be a dark omen. The ghostly cries of a weeping woman drift in the air, warning any unfortunate soul who hears of impending death. Following her like the train of a morbidly beautiful wedding dress, a thick fog envelops her skin as she croons a sorrowful, haunting song which is filled with concern and love for her family. This song can be heard a few days before the death of a family member and in most cases the song can only be heard by the person for whom it is intended. Some even go to argue that it is the banshee’s unwitting song which kills the person. You care very strongly about your family and friends. Your loyalty towards those whom you care for is unconditional. You are an excellent and reliable friend, trustworthy enough to bear even the darkest of secrets. Secrets which you would gladly carry to the grave unless of course, they harm your loved ones. You will fight tooth and nail to protect the ones you care for, restraint left abandoned. The banshee admires your reslience and passion. It desires to aid you in protecting those you love and to help you navigate a harsh reality just be warned and keep a close eye on the people you love.

Coming from my last post, Guy takes most of the punches, always rushing in to be the “meat shield” knowing he can take most of the punches like he was when he was still the small child in front of his father. His body is use to pain, has a high pain tolerance, and doesn’t want any of the GLs to know how that feels.

#{ he never really told them about him and his father }#{ just told them they didn't have a good relationship }#{ doesn't want them to have pity on their faces }#{ he doesn't shy away from the scars on his body }#{ but you ask about one }#{ he'll just shrug it off }#{ AJ OUT HERE CRYING ABOUT THIS DUMBASS }#; hc. ;

Guy will tease the other GLs to no end, but he will step in if anyone says anything rude/teases them. Only HE can do that.

Though he owns a bar and drinks here and there, he doesn’t do it a lot where ehe gets drunk. He knows what alcohol can do to people. He’s seen it on his dad, and would prefer not to turn out like him. So, he usually keeps himself from drinking so much. He also makes sure no one else gets too crazy.

Guy has a lot of scars along his body due to what he does. However, he is self-conscious around certain ones that scatter his body. Those ones are wounds that his father inflected on him when he was young. When people ask where he got some of them, and point to one his father gave him, he usually just shrugs and closes off with a “I don’t remember”. It’s still sensitive for him.

I’ve said this millions of times, but Guy is good with kids. He enjoys being around them. They are his soft side, and usually he tries not to show this soft side so often. Although, he can’t help it if there is a kid around and needs his help. That rough and tough outer shell will drop.
