A hero isn't perfect.

There are few in the chapel to serve as witnesses of their union. An assortment of white flowers are scattered. The scent of hydrangeas lingers heavy in the air. A small, elderly woman shifts on her creaky wooden bench, ready to play the wedding march on the antique organ. Dressed in white robes, the priest waits under the arch, bible clutched to his chest and a warm smile on his face. Standing next to a nervous groom is Dean Winchester, the best man.

Hughie is impatient and emotional. While waiting for the wedding to begin, his thoughts wonder to his father. Hugh Senior would have been quite proud to see his son getting married. A hint of expected sadness clings to Hughie's aura. He feels a hand on his shoulder and turns his head to the man. Butcher looks strange with his dark hair slicked back. He stinks of pine. Did he rub himself down with a car air freshener? Smells right.

As she pulls away from the hug with Kimiko, she walks with her now as she leads the way to a room in the chapel. Seras about to protest to her best friend that she could not get married in the pale blue summer dress she was wearing, when she is gestured into the room and her eyes fall on the most beautiful dress, which is saying a lot for the one who doesn't normally wear them. Eyes widen and hands reach out to touch the celestial embellishments.

Now a conversation between her and Kimiko is making sense to her, she had showed her some similar dresses for the hypothetical weddings they were talking about for if they survived everything life had been throwing at them.

A smile as she gets dressed, laced up and helped by Kimiko. Another hug and a bouquet of her favourite flowers handed to her. White lilies with a few red roses in between them. In this moment her own father comes to her mind, someone she wished was here to walk her down to her future and she knows in her heart he would have liked Hughie and been so proud. A brief moment thought on her mother, but that one is shaken more quickly as they get to the door. The music starts and the doors open slowly to reveal whose awaiting in there alongside Hughie - surprised she sees Dean at his side, she sees Butcher among the crowd as well as the other members of the boys, she see Sam and even Castiel - she is not surprised the brothers dragged the angel along.
