first, the mysterious james ๐คค๐คค๐คค๐คค I LOVE YOUR PORTRAYAL OF HIM!!!! ik u were going insane tryna capture him as accurate as u could and i think the way u did it was PERFECT. he's so cold--yet he ISNT--and his gaze is so confusing--yet so plainly attentive. and the whole confliction thing with his previous team is SO GOOD HELLO. it definitely feels like some sort of trainee a with ur own twist! bc i definitely think that whole ordeal changed james permanently ๐ he watches people, percieves them and analyzes them, instead of being with them, of being friends with them. and now the way he expresses himself NOW compared to THEN has been so miscontrued that he rarely bothers simply being โน๏ธโน๏ธ love that inclusion twin
i love the way u wrote the conflictions in general here. the conflictions of james' character itself (being both warm yet cold), of their RELATIONSHIP (like u wrote it, it's so clearly outlined YET ITS COMPLICATED), and of yn's thoughts of james!! gawd i ATE IT UPPPPPPP the way they constantly fight yet come back like the tide on the shore. the way he can be so sweet and raw with her, yet put up a stone wall as if nothing happened the day before. the way she takes so much offense to his critiques, yet takes it to heart and actually takes them into account when practicing. oh it's so good.
i feel sooooo bad for yn here omd โน๏ธโน๏ธ like ms girl u PUT URSELF INTO THIS WHOLE ORDEAL ๐ญ๐ญ๐ญ๐ญ quit the lies about "knowing what ur getting into" and "everything being under control" when u clearly DONT and everything is clearly NOT. but also her being so attached to him is so โน๏ธโน๏ธโน๏ธโน๏ธ heartbreaking to witness i sob . bc she deserves so much more!!!! she doesn't deserve being confused or shaky in this relationship, even if she chose to do so.
