HII, so I'm trying to post everday and I have so far (except for one day where I was having technical difficulties, so I'm not counting that) to promote and build somewhat of a fanbase around Iridescent Notion (a book I'm writing) but I'm running out of ideas of what to post.

I will still be posting something everyday, but if anyone has advice on what I could do or if they actually just wanna hear anything about the worldbuilding around Iridescent Notion, Sonance, the characters, please ask!!

I'll start off with my main trio's personalities,

Crystal - She does her best to act very elegant and exceeds in that persona, but if you can actually manage to get close with her or be around enough to the point she gets comfortable with you, she becomes a mess. She gets really open to being goofy, loving, and ontop of all really prissy.

Spots - Spots is very eccentric, not over the top in my opinion but definetely up there. He's pretty youthful- I wouldn't describe him as silly or goofy but almost a combination of both unintentionally that puts him in his own box. He's very understanding and good at understanding people despite getting easily distracted.

Rory - All I can say for the first sentence is he's very short tempered and hot headed. He can choose to act kind when he's comfortable due to the fact that the whole reason he acts like this is because of his past, but he definetely ACTUALLY grew bitter unlike Crystal who just has a toxic persona.

Now onto the things they all like,

Spots - Fry sauce (especially on his pizza,) art, inovative decorations, blue orange and purple. ESPECIALLY blue orange and purple considering that's literally his branding. He loves meeting old friends, festivals, anime, cartoons, drama shows, and guava candy

Rory - i actually gotta think hard for what this guy likes (EMO PRICK) 🧍‍♂️He loves expressing his culture and seeing others do the same considering his complex ethical background, he loves singing whenever he does he just goes into flow state. I like to think he'd secretly collect action figures of his favorite characters and keep them hidden because they're 'weird dolls meant for nerds' while he would openly display posters all over his walls. Speaking of posters, he'd 100% have posters of Green Day, Nirvana, My Chemical Romance, things like that.

I was bored and remembered I still had to post something about Iridescent Notion today, so, here's my main character trio's aesthetics made into DTI outfits!

OKAY, so basically, I made up a place in Morroco Atla mountains named Sonance from my book Iridescent Notion

This is some unoffical concept art of the landscape, (I suck at drawing landscapes)

As you can see, there doesn't seem to be any 'normal' colors for a city, just pinks, yellows, and blues. That's all completely intentional,

when I came up with Sonance I really wanted it to be unique and cool, it was made up on the fly at the time but I later came back to it, reshaped it, and was really happy with how it came out.

I like how you can't find only one proper style to categorize the aesthetic Sonance has, it makes it feel special and like a one in a million thing. It wasn't the mark I was trying to hit in the first place, but it made pleasently suprised to see that it was hit nonetheless >:3

Sonance's culture emphasies on entertainment more than anywhere else with fun dancing, singing, unique jobs, untraditional hobbies, and much more. This is the main reason I actually chose to locate Sonance in Africa, it was because the cultures already felt like they matched up well.

In Sonance compared to avarage statics in getting creative work jobs, Sonance has a 20-40% more likely rate due to being very open and inclusive to anyone interested.

Sonance definetely holds a special place in my heart and I really hope it can get somewhere someday!

What my inspiration for Iridescent Notion was...

Wassapp!! If you know me, you know I'm writing a book called Iridescent Notion.

And you might be wondering--aka I just wanted to yap about--how I got my inspiration for Iridescent Notion because I.N has been shimmering around in my head for half a year to a year before I actually started writing it.

The anwser isn't special, instead it's common, music.

I.N is indie, in which is ironic, because what inspired it is mostly indie rock music.

Good kid, The Rare Occasions, Denna Mckenna, ect... anything that isn't indie is basically just music that I saw the characters in, giving me good vibes paired along with motivation.

So if you were to listen to those artists while reading I.N, you'd get a pretty good experience or knowing that in advance while reading you'd notice the vibe, mood, and aesthetic are either the same or heavily inspired/similar.

Infact, most if not all photos I post on tumblr (banners, profile pictures, backgrounds, art...) are all chosen based off the aesthetic of the characters in Iridescent Notion. Like the banner ontop of this post and the bottom, (Spots and Rory's aesthetic!)

Every Friday/Saturday starting next week, there will be a new little story posted on my Wattpad account called snippets with an official title including the characters of I.N.

As the actual plot of I.N progresses, changes, and gets more fleshed out some fun facts or aesthetics of the characters might be changed around a bit. All is fun in games though! They will still be the same characters you know and love.

This is just so that you can get to know the characters, aesthetics, their awesome dynamics, and the amazing world! None of it is canon, so don't worry. Maybe my writing will even get a laugh out of you, who knows.

This is the first post I've made on Tumblr for awhile, but I've become more committed to being active recently!

I'd like to announce, I'm making a book. It's in the earliest stage a book could be in, I'm still writing the first ever rough drafts and currently 4-5 chapters in,

This book - Iridescent Notion, has been in my mind and heart for about a year and I've now decided to take action and indulge in my passion for writing, film, and graphic description.

It doesn't have a fanbase at all yet except for one of my anonymous bestfriends who has been here before Iridescent Notion was ever made or even thought of.

Yet despite not having a fanbase, it's supposed to be the book I enter a national compeition with when I'm older, that I'm going to self-publish, and my little jump into being an author.

Iridescent Notion, as the name suggests, is represented, expressed, and shown through color and other symbolic imagery tied into the characters.

Iridescent Notion is very, very colorful and has many aesthetics that make it memorable, imaginable, and fun to live in especially if you're into fashion, pinterest, and/or alternative styles!

Iridescent Notion has mature themes that mean a lot.

I strive for this book to grow a healthy fandom, in which I promise to stand by that.
