let me be good

– & Being bumped into wasn’t exactly anticipated but she wasn’t hard done by, ether. If anything it was a little off putting but it’s not like she’d been thrown to the ground. However the energy coming off of the other woman is slightly concerning. Gaze lingers on her before scanning the room, not sensing anything that would be deemed a red flag. “It’s fine, shit happens.” Response is offered quickly, a shrug of her shoulder as if to further prove her words. “You seem uneasy though, maybe I should be asking you if you’re alright?”

“I mean, a few days ago he would have been dead on the floor, so I suppose I’m fine, yes.” She probably shouldn’t be advertising her homicidal urges to the first stranger she ran into (literally), but it was honestly one hell of a hard time, becoming a better person, and she was tired. Thgins were a lot easier when you could just kill and eat anyone you had a disagreement with.

– & It wasn’t often that the demoness let herself be moved but when one has a specific purpose in mind, one must let the prey come to you. This wasn’t to say that she was stalking the vampiress, per say but simply put she had been trying to get a hold of the other for some time. How convenient that she happened to find the other in a rather uncomfortable situation, though it seemingly works out in he favor. Simple hum escapes the demoness at the others fallen plea of concern,as if to acknowledge that yes she’s fine. Does she believe the other is genuine? Hardly. Gaze is slow as it follows the lines of brunette hair cascading over shoulders, yes the vampiress is certainly a beauty to behold. But alas, Lilith needs to get to the point. “Perhaps my company will be more pleasant than his.”

“Anyone’s company would be better then his,” she points out, somewhat petulantly. Though, the demon was a bit of an unknown to Allison; she’d obviously heard of her from her mother, but they’d never really interacted before. Despite Allison’s own advanced age, she felt at a distinct disadvantage with the other woman. 

“I just may be. I’d have to let you be the judge of that, sweet thing - but I am certainly interested, if you’d like to find out. There are… other places we can settle in for an evening of drink and conversation, if you’ve a mind for it.”

Val rests her arm across the girl’s shoulders to escort her out from the establishment, in her gentle yet insistent way of taking control. Her touch was protective, almost possessive; the brunette was far too lovely for such a repulsive satyr to lay eyes on, after all, and this way he’d well know that she’d beaten him at this game - a thought she quite enjoyed.

“I’d love to hear more about these violent tendencies you mention. You must have stories! I’m in the mood to be regaled with them.”

‘Sweet’ was not a word most would use to describe her; her mother perhaps, and maybe her mother’s wolf, but few others. She found herself not quite minding it, coming from the blonde. 

“That sounds wonderful,” she replied honestly. “This place was getting too crowded for my liking anyways.” Allison let herself be led, the two meandering down the sidewalk. 

“I don’t have any stories really, not anything interesting at least. I just don’t have the best control of my temper, is all it is. When I get mad, I either cry or I hurt people, and I hate cryingin front of people so I hurt people, kind of a lot? I’ve been working on my control though. I don’t know where humans got the idea that vampires are so calm, cool, and collected!”  Not complete lies. She really was working on her control- she had been for the last 2000 years and it wasn’t likely to get much better but she was still trying. And she really didn’t have any interesting tales- just ‘human annoyed Allison. Allison killed human. Allison’s mother apologizes for Allison’s lack fo control.’ lather, rinse, repeat.

“Oh, that’s quite alright, my dear. One can hardly complain about a close encounter with a beautiful woman, even one so unexpected. Some like it rough, after all.”

She smiles down at the diminutive brunette before her, unshaken by the incident and gripping her arm gently, but firmly to help steady her. Briefly, her gaze travels past, taking in the view of the sulking satyr as he pouted into his drink, casting petulant glances in their direction.

“Is that your handiwork?” she asks, inclining her head towards the man with a delighted smirk. “I can’t blame you for dashing out the door in search of more pleasant company, if so. He looks awfully… grating.”

Green eyes assess the blonde before her, cautious but intrigued. There was darkness about her, young but strong; a demon perhaps, or a spirit? 

“Grating is too kind an adjective, but yes. Apparently ignoring his existence is not a strong enough hint, but I’m supposed to be working on my ‘violent tendencies’, so it was either kill him or walk away.” a shrug. “He wouldn’t really be worth the effort anyways, or the trouble.” There would always be overeager drunks unwilling to take no for an answer, no matter the century.

so when he gets to explore this retched town axel finds that there is some perks here and there mixed into the pool of disgusting abominations. he wondered when he’d get to go home - not that there was much at home for him anyways other than disappointed parents and a reminder every day he truly fucked himself over. maybe it was good he was here. a fresh start. axel wasn’t paying attention when he felt someone run straight into his shoulder. making him grunt softly, turning on his heel immediately to see a rather small looking woman. she was right to apologize. “i’m fine, yeah.” axel shrugged. “maybe watch where you’re goin’ next time. just a friendly tip. or you know…don’t intentionally smack into someone to get some creep from coming to slide his hand up your shirt.” he could see the way the man not far away from them was eyeing her hungrily. he had horns - who the fuck knew what he was. “instead pretend you know someone and walk off with them. it’s a tip i learned to avoid creepy fucks that tried taking me home with them.”

Maybe the night wouldn’t be a complete bust; the townspeople might be off limits, but no one would blink if she had a little fun with one of the humans.

“You’re quite rude, aren’t you?” it’s more statement then question, tone darker, less refined then when she had offered up the bland apology. No reason to put on a show for the boy. “Or maybe it’s just a human thing...” He seemed pretty confident for someone in a room full of creatures that would eat him alive (both figuratively and literally speaking, in some cases) if given half a chance, though. She would give him that much.

“If I’d meant to bump into you, you would have flown out that window, little human. Lucky for you,” a pause, appraising gaze trails down the human’s form. “I don’t want to hurt you just yet.” She notices his gaze sliding back to the moping satyr, rolling her eyes before hissing at him, fangs bared. The suit clad man isn’t an issue after that, he turns back to his drink hurriedly, throwing it back and relocating to a different part of the bar. Allison turns back to the the human with a teasing smirk.
