lovesick rire is probably the most similar to the original, a suave old demon who loves taking out his sadistic desires on humans. he's more into psychologically playing with his victims than physically torturing them (though he definitely still does.) he has an aura of charisma and a magnetic draw that draws both humans and holy beings; he has a LOT of descendants from both sides. (notably, some beastkin)

rire likes to gamble and wager with humans, whether that be normal games of poker or soul staking games that he. almost always wins. he also makes deals with humans, i.e. they can live forever or come back to life after death as long as he gets a piece of their soul. he uses souls for alot of things, usually just collecting them or eating them.

as for relationships rire is in a thousand-year-and-running situationship with cain where they get together and bond over their sadistic tendencies (and fuck like crazy.) rire usually doesnt keep in touch with his flings but cain keeps coming back and well getting the attention of the first murderer is a cool feat so he doesnt mind. he doesnt care for the holy court and particularly doesnt like samael, though he doesnt instigate anything himself. lastly he was present for sano and akira's childhood, rarely but more often than cain would checking in on them. he has a soft spot for them but its under layers and layers of demonic, uncaring suave

Also, is there a masterlist that explains what the plot of this rewrite will be? I didn't know people decided to rewrite BTD but I'm intrigued :3

electricpuke is off the internet but came back to tumblr for a few months earlier this year iirc? gato moved off of social media a while back and now posts on her own website, dirtymurdergames.com, and darqx is still here posting about rire in their ocverse but still answers asks about btd sometimes

potential preorder form?? hi everyone!! ive come with good news and updates!! for starters, we are currently working on charm designs of the main guys and would love the input of what other characters we should do. I know theres an untapped market of other BTD characters but we need the peoples opinion!! (charm designs round 1 below)
