Review: Colourpop Ultra Matte liquid lipstick

Hi Beauties today i’m going to be reviewing a Colourpop Lipstick in “Limbo”. To start off I am just going to disclaimer right now, I bought this product with my own money and I am in no way affiliated with Colourpop.

A lot of youtubers have been raving about Colorpop cosmetics so I gave in and decided to order. I was mainly interested in the liquid lipsticks and thought i’d buy more than one to be honest. Colourpop has an amazing color selection on their liquid lipsticks. Usually I go towards the brown shades (which I did). Limbo is a beautiful chocolate brown shade. Suitable for all skin colors!

The packing is super cute with it’s super cute holographic labeling. My package came nicely packed in a big shipping envelope that has bubble wrap inside. Came with a hand written note and an application card.

Shipping took FOREVER I was honestly really disappointed in that. I placed my order on the 7th and got a shipping confirmation on the 14th and got my package the 17th. After searching the colourpop tag on twitter I quickly learned that several people have been waiting WEEKS to get their items too. Hopefully the wait isn’t so long now.

This is a swatch of Limbo like I mentioned before it’s a chocolate brown shade. Once it’s dry it’s about a shade darker than when its freshly applied.The product is super pigmented. I would suggest you use a lip scrub and chapstick because it can be very drying. It is SUPER matte so the name ultra matte fits perfectly. If you don’t like super matte lipsticks I suggest you try the lippie stixs those don’t seem so drying.
