I am drawn to the moon like the tide that rises and falls with every gravitational pull. There's something about the moon that just beguiles my soul. Out of all the celestial bodies in the galaxy, the moon is like a constant reminder of how beautiful and meaningful it is to be alive. There are times when we are at our best, fullest form where no one can outshine us. Even the stars are ashamed of the brightness we emit. But, there is also a time when we are at our worst, darkest forms where we live invisibly... barely existing. And this time, the stars have outshined us. But no matter how dark and lonely we feel, there will come a time that we will slowly put our self whole again. Slowly but surely until we have restored our fullest, brightest form one more time. And the cycle of life goes on. At this very moment, I am still in the process of making myself whole again. After giving so much of myself to someone who can never appreciate and be contented of the love I have given, I think it's time to allow myself to protect whatever is left of me. I will rebuild the ruins of my heart, and in time... I will be whole again. And to the ones who feel lost and broken right now, please raise your head to heavens and marvel at the beauty of the universe. May the moon serve as our reminder that in this life, we find and lose the light we possess very often. She was lost, but the song of the birds led her the way. The trees, with their long, proud limbs waving for her to join them. And as she got lost deep into the green vast forest, she found herself. She is one with the world, the air whispering to her, "You are where you are meant to be-- home."

It rained tonight while I was still at work. When the rain stopped, I decided to set aside what needs to be done for the next day and walked home alone. It is ironic to say but, as I walked through the damp road under the dark gloomy sky, I never felt more comfortable and more calm in the darkness of the earth. Every step I take feels like a silent trot in the vast outer space, taking me deep into an unknown galaxy. I was lost in my thoughts, and everything around me just seemed to blur from familiarity. Little did I know that as my steps took me farther and farther into my deep reverie, I was already approaching home. When my dogs happily greeted me, it was like being teleported from the imagination into the realm of reality. And after a very long time, I felt serenity... as if nothing could ever go wrong in the world.
