But yea, if Nicki no longer worried about Remy Ma, then what was that verse on 2 Chainz’s upcoming album then? Nicki Minaj to this day is still looking for a diss to land against Remy Ma, however it’s like months after the beef. Maybe if Ni c ki was rapping at the lvl she should now be rapping at and crushed Remy Ma’s whole shit 48 hrs after Shether dropped, we wouldn’t be having this conversation and ppl would still be saying, “Remy who? The love and hip-hop chick?”

Now if you saying Young M.A. or Cardi B deserved to win this year instead over both them, that’s a different conversation. But it’s not like Nicki’s last album was fire, all her songs like No Frauds and that Tears joint dropped outta the Top 10 the week after the Remy beef made them so anticipated and well-received by her Barbz, and Nicki ain’t put out an album for like a whole year and a half before that last one.

Like Nicki’s got an impressive catalog, but with one song Shether Remy just straight up established she could outrap the chick they been calling the queen of rap for years and sent her ass into hiding. We can’t hold Nicki to a lower standard than we held her ex Meek to when it comes to responding to beef and somebody making an attack on your empire. Despite a flop of an album with one song she captured the entire world’s attention and snatched the crown off Nicki’s head. All Nicki’s proved so far is that she doesn’t take Ls well, that she needs to reinvent her flow and step her bars up, and that she has to start dropping actual songs if she’s actually tryna get back at shawty and the hatas and not just a verse here and a diss there on another artist’s single in order to fix how ppl perceive her and her legacy.
