I really hate the way the most basic feminist concepts get tossed out the window when talking about LGBT issues. Like blaming bisexual women for mistreatment they get while dating men is obviously victim blaming shit. Or blaming bisexual women for men fetishizing and being sexually violent to lesbians when obviously you should be blaming the sexually violent men. Or acting like gay women hold some kind of privilege over gay men and oppress them.

I also think saying bisexual women “perform feminity for men” is also so obviously misogynistic and antifeminist. Maybe that’s just the clothes they like. What happened to basic agency? Dating men and being attracted to men doesn’t mean your world revolves around men.

There is also the whole bisexual women “are available” for men thing which is so creepy sounding and acts like bisexual women have zero agency and are just waiting around for some man to take them. Women aren’t the properties of men regardless of their sexualities and preferences, which is also a very basic feminist concept.
