Elucien & Gwynriel ship

specifically the potential of seeing these two, historically cast aside characters, just completely lose it at each other

like i need to see them have a completely insane and downright feral fight

just screaming and throwing accusations and just finally—finally—losing it in a way they haven’t allowed themselves

we need to see them completely undone and they need to do it together. I think the only people capable of making them reach their breaking point is the other

Sarah wrote the story and thought at some point Elain and Lucien would be a perfect match.

She purposely paired him up with an Archeron sister because it was the only way to keep him relevant to Feyre’s story and explore his background.

So why Elain and not Nesta - as she intended to?

Why Elain, when Sarah had the chance - perfectly layed out in front of her - to write the messiest broken bond story between Lucien, Nesta and Cassian? When she saw the fire between them, yet eventually thought Lucien and Nesta wouldn’t work out?

Why, when she even used Eris instead to recreate that kind of tension for Nessian?

Why Eris, not Lucien?

Why Elain, not Nesta?

I’m telling you: because she never wanted that lame ass, soul-crushing broken bond storyline for any of her favourites!! Not for Lucien, not for Nesta, and not for Elain.

A deal of tension, growth and healing (together)

The characters need to have that Spark that almost goes beyond her

That’s it, SJM really doesn't know how to be subtle.

I wanted to thank everyone who took the time to interact with my posts this past week and celebrate Elucien with us in whatever form they could.

Thesleepyfox encompassed everything I am hoping for in an Elucien book: a reformed rake trope bordering on historical romance with fantastical elements.

Fictional characters don't have actual autonomy.

Saying Eluciens/Gwynriels don't care about Elain autonomy within her mating bond is laughable when Elain could very well change her mind about Lucien in the upcoming books.

In the last few months, I discovered the fanfic A Court of Gold and Gloom on AO3 and got really hooked! The author, kaliyahwrites17, is a sweetheart, and I wanted to create some art to show my appreciation!🥰

Time is really flying—I can't wait for the next ACOTAR book!!!
