20th BIRTHDAY (part I)
This blog post is very important for me because today is my 20th birthday. I had these roller-coaster emotions weeks ago for the idea of turning 20 because honestly people who have the same age as I am, already accomplished a lot in their life. But the pressure is not that stressing me out because itâs okay if I havenât accomplished things yet.
Last night, I had this drama of 'sleeping early' because I just donât want to remind everyone that the next day would be my birthday (which is today). Then so nobody would talk about it. I even deactivated my Facebook account but reactivate it anyways when I woke up in the middle of the night. I didnât overthink everything too. I just want to make sure that everything would be as silent as possible, that nobody would know that itâs my birthday but itâs impossible, my friends and family knows. Lol
I donât really want to expect that much because we donât celebrate birthdays and I used in that kind of family tradition. We donât celebrate because we couldnât afford it. Poverty is the reason. But the most important is I am grateful because I refused my drama and ego to control my birthday, this is supposed to be fun, and it does.
Part two of this will be posted later. I just have to run some errands.
