Cupcakes & Alien Tees

This is what I got from my dad this morning.

Goodnight everyone, it's time for bed. Today has been both wonderful and a bit distressing. It is my 8 month anniversary with my wife and we had an amazing day/evening together. After we got home, I found out that my younger sister, to whom I'd told of my recent self-realization, had told my father. Her reply to my sharing of something incredibly important was her outing me to him was because "why should I keep your secrets when you can't keep mine" and "stop being this way before you get called gay". My wife is my biggest supporter.

As I solemnly gaze out into the open world, I realize that there is more to life than just hiding in the shadows of my darkest fear. Today I realized that I no longer have to live with the fear of rejection.

The more that I start to see it the more I begin to feel comfortable being dressed as Natalie. It just doesn't feel the same being dressed as Nathan anymore. She has come out and finally wants to be known and I'm not letting myself hide in the shadows of society. I am Natalie Faith Scarborough. Not Nathan Scott Scarborough anymore.

I always have things on my mind but the one thing that will never escape it is that I will always feel free when I am myself and that I’m very happy to have a wife who supports me all the way. :)
