Kenji is home the most often, usually playing video games or reading, so you learn to check in on him with water every so often and bring him snacks. Hayao likes to play 'blue-collar husband home from work' and lays it on thick since he works in construction. He'll nuzzle your neck while he's still sweaty and oily and grabs your ass on his way to the shower, eager to sit down and inhale the meal you made that he and the rest of them have come to expect. If you're even remotely within his proximity on the couch he's the first to grab you and pull you right into his lap.
Shura is the one who will help you with the household chores even if he's just come home from work, tired with sore feet but still shooing you away from the dishes in the sink or gently prying the broom out of your hand. But as helpful as he is, he's also the one most likely to pull you away from your chores to bend you over the same furniture you're cleaning, so it depends on the day.
Makoi acts like the king of the castle (which he kind of is, to be fair) and practically strong-arms you into calling him your spouse or husband when people ask. They don't need to know that you're fucking your fellow clan members, just that you're at least fucking him and that means you're completely off-limits. He parades you around his district like a prize when you're not at home taking care of your new family, although after a while you will get a chance to go out on walks or run errands. But you always have to have a chaperone which is usually one of your partners, if not occasionally another trusted member of the clan like Yuya or Jiji.
On the flipside, Makoi in particular will want to jet you off to any expensive holiday you can think of! He'll take you to the fashion districts of Althesia City and show you the sights around the neighborhood he grew up in, while the boys will bring you to little hole in the wall spots around the city that only locals know about. You're constantly overprotected and hovered over, but considering that you have no bills, a generous allowance both for the household and yourself, and a group of passionate men all interested in making you happy? It's not such a bad deal.

If it helps, Yuya is also an old-fashioned gentleman <3 if he was courting you he would do it all! Jacket over your shoulders when you're cold, opening every door for you, never allowing you to touch a bill, kissing your hand and complimenting you every time he sees you...it's sickly-sweet to watch and even more intoxicating to receive. Isabelle is an easy one, because if you slipped through her fingers and she couldn't get you back, she would start killing people that look like you. She would get so obsessed that she wouldn't stop thinking about you, about finally finding you and proving you can't ever get away from her--she'd get unhinged to the point of becoming even more dangerous than she already is. She might even force some of her captives to dress and act like you just to try and quench that desire to have you.
Others, like Hyun-jin, Makoi, Yuya, and Aryll, would use their connections to try and scrape everything they can in search of you. Tracking your online profiles, looking for you in person, they would employ, threaten, or just enlist the help of their trusted colleagues to try and track you down. Even if it costs them thousands they'll do it for your sake, at least that's what they tell themselves as they spend years draining away their lives just for the hope of seeing you again.
Umi would drive themselves crazy with a severe, intense depression that washes over them. They'll let their hair dye wash out and go back to its natural colour, they won't stream, they'll barely do anything in your absence. Kaito will have to check on them just to make sure they eat enough not to starve.
Leigh, Tsung, and Seiko would all make shrines dedicated to you after failing to find you in a reasonable amount of time. They'll spend so much time worshipping and adding whatever tiny, insignificant bits and bobs they can to your altar until it completely consumes their lives. Seiko would likely dress up a pillow in your clothes and use it for pleasure just to relieve the stress and tension of you being gone.

Also I was thinking about rural, remote village culture and how Conrad would lack a formal education, so he sincerely believes in not just natural medicine, but the ethereal world and ritual spells. If he gets advice from his elders about how to increase your fertility you'll start realizing it quickly, whether it's because he's putting an excess of carrots in your meals or asking you to rub some sort of homemade tincture on your belly twice a day. So when he says you can still try...he really means you can, at least in his own belief.

Some are more common than others, but for that whole group of subspecies I would say that they make up about 10-12% of the current population. Not common enough to be a huge part of the cultural lexicon but enough that they certainly aren't considered myths, and most people won't have seen a fairy, nymph, selkie etc unless they're related to one or they live near an area that is one of their natural habitats. Out of that whole group merpeople are definitely the most common, and you might mistake a subspecies like a selkie or siren for a merperson just by virtue of them being aquatic humanoids. They can sometimes be difficult to tell apart since sirens in particular often have scales even if they don't have full tails like merpeople.
Aside from those physical characteristics, the differences between sirens and mermaids is vast. For example, merpeople can be of any gender, but two sirens cannot produce a pure-blooded male offspring. They will only conceive females unless one parent is of a different species, like a human or elf. So male sirens are exceedingly rare, and sirens have evolved so that two female sirens can reproduce if they bond together as lifelong partners (which can also be done by a couple of any mix of genders). Bonding can be done through a ritual that involves sharing blood, laying a claiming bite to one another, and copulating with each other for between 1-3 days. The ritual can also be done with a non-siren partner, so long as one of the couple is a pure or partial siren, and is not limited to a pair, so it can be performed in a group of up to 3-4 people or more.
Siren culture also isn't as diverse as merculture, in part because their numbers are much smaller. Sirens tend to be identifiable by a few select features, like darker skin tones, vivid eye colours, and sharper facial features, as well as paler scale colours. Whereas merpeople are extremely diverse in both species and physicality; some are an equal measure of fish and human, and some look almost entirely human or entirely aquatic. Some very closely resemble their species, such as female anglerfish mer having lures and pitch-dark skin, and there are much higher numbers of feral merpeople than any other primarily domestic species. Feral sirens are mostly stories of legend as nobody can really prove that they actually exist, at least in the modern age. Culturally, merpeople have much more varied practices and faith systems whereas sirens all tend to behave and believe in the same manner.
And, of course, sirens possess the power of suggestion while merpeople have the ability to live and survive in aquatic environments. It's more common for sirens to interbreed with other species, while merpeople tend to stick to their own groups and families. Adventurous mer who venture close to the shallows and fall in love with earth-walkers are considered more rebellious and odd in most mer circles. Sirens also have very similar reproductive organs to humans and copulate and breed identically, whereas merpeople's reproduction is very different. Males and females are less distinguishable from one another because mer in general tend towards more feminine appearances, so males often have longer hair and females bear their chests openly. The only main difference is that some are born with ovipositors and some are born with egg clutches, but you wouldn't be able to tell who has what unless you saw it for yourself--those who have both are higher in numbers than you would ever think. In fact, a theory has been proposed in recent history that all mer are born with egg clutches and thus have the capacity to carry their own offspring, as many cases of male-presenting mer have been examined only to find that they have unfertilized eggs they never knew about.
A merperson's ovipositor is usually about 3-6 inches in length, kept in a sheath beneath their waistline where skin meets scales. The scales will part to unsheathe it when they're aroused, and apart from a bulbous sphere midway up the shaft and a pointed tip, they look like a thinner male organ one would find on a human. They function similarly to a knot on a hybrid, but the bulb doesn't grow or shrink and isn't meant to lock a mate when they're inside. Instead, it contains seminal fluid and small eggs that will be deposited once the mer is fully seated inside their partner. However, if their partner is female or has a womb, the mer will be instinctively driven to press the bulb inside and latch it within the womb to breed...which you can imagine is a very intense, often painful, but very rewarding process. Once the eggs are deposited and fertilized, they'll grow to their full size and mature in as little as a few hours up to a week, before they'll have to be pushed out and delivered by the mate in question. They can be about the size of a fist, and are usually much softer than traditional eggs and have an almost jelly-like consistency, so the process isn't usually intensely painful especially if they've matured quickly. Roughly half of the eggs will develop into the fetal stage, so a clutch may produce between 1-3 surviving mer babies on average for every ten or so eggs in a clutch.
Mer babies are also much more independent much earlier than sirens and humans and mature very quickly, partly because of the high mortality rate of a newborn mer. So depending on the pair and the offspring, some leave their homes and parents as early as one to two years after their birth, though most tend to stick with their groups for at least three to four before they become independent, and many end up staying with their pod anyways to remain close with their community even if they're self-sufficient. Most juvenile mer mature physically around the same rate as humans or earlier though, so many will end up finding their own partners or producing offspring in their late teens or early twenties. Sirens tend to keep their young close for many years before they become independent, and most exclusive siren communities end up becoming very insular as they rely heavily on one another rather than the outside world. And sirens usually have a more sinister reputation than mer, who are considered a very ethereal and mysterious species by most. Sirens live and die by their reputation in mythology as cunning temptresses who lure humans in to eat them--that has never been true at any point in history, and sirens are actually more likely to use their suggestion to calm a person's emotions than manipulate them. It does happen of course, but not as often as people think. More often than not a siren mother will calm her crying child with a song, or a group will whisper together over an ailing friend in hopes of curing them. Sirens have actually earned a positive reputation in some areas of the world and even had statues erected of them in a few coastal towns, who view sirens as their patron saints after they've rescued sailors from a shipwreck or guided their boats to shore before lighthouses were built. Similarly, mer have a horrendous reputation in some parts for groups of feral mer who dragged down trading ships, stole humans off their boats, or lured people into the water from the shore. It all depends where you go and who you talk to!

Mixed! Hyun-jin would be devastated at first but he's quick to think up solutions like surrogacy--after all, the sexy part is still manageable so he can just pretend like he's putting a baby in you <3 I think most of the others with breeding kinks would have tempered reactions to it, most of them are older and more emotionally mature so they know it's a bigger deal for their darling than it'll ever be for them. Even if you didn't want kids it's still a hard pill to swallow knowing you don't even have the option to. So someone like Adrian would be so reassuring and kind about the subject to make sure you're not worried that he's upset, he's a lot more focused on you than what he wants. Harley, who wouldn't even be self-aware about his breeding kink and just knows he likes the feeling, doesn't care that much and actually takes it as a blessing. He can still 'breed' you without the risk, and you can have all the babies you want by caring for the newborn animals on the farm--if you're especially depressed, he'll arrange to breed a baby calf that he'll let you name and care for, even if it grows up attached to your hip to the point he begrudgingly lets it come in the house.
Seóirse is one who would be openly disappointed, but he's not opposed to a life without children and he'd be quick to backpedal when he lets his emotions show. He would never want you to think he's mad at you or thinks you're lesser! But as long as you're okay with him still talking dirty when he's breeding you in a feverish rut, then he's as happy as a clam. Lilith would be quite sad but she's more sad for you than she is for herself, so as long as you end up being okay she sees it as just a bump in the road. If you want kids she can help you make it happen even if she needs to get creative, otherwise she's perfectly happy keeping you all to herself. Blake would also be pretty upset, but once he reels his emotions in he's ready and willing to support and comfort you. Especially if you do like and want kids, because he's still beyond happy that you can be Siri's parent and he feels so fortunate that he can at least provide that. Suki would be ecstatic because he really hasn't thought about the actual childrearing process, just making them in the first place, so he's delighted to stick to that step and breed you nonstop without repercussions. Makoi is annoyed at first mostly because that wasn't part of his plans, and it's a tough subject he'll have to bring up when his father and grandfather interrogate him about when he's having children, but he'll get over it in less than a day. You might worry that he's considering breaking up with you with how distant he gets over. the course of that day, but it's just him taking time to think about his next steps and plans for the future, every one of which includes you. Conrad is one of the toughest to admit it to because he just doesn't know enough about it to truly understand. He comes back to you with "Well, we still try, no?" not quite grasping the finality of it all. It's not even a translation mishap because he knows what words you're saying, he just hasn't encountered it before, but even so he's very easygoing about the whole thing. And when the realization does finally dawn on him he's very supportive, even if he has to defend you from his parents or other villagers who think you may be cursed or just unlucky.

Is Umi's name legally Umi like they got it changed at 18 or is it still Kaoru on paper?
When did Umi realize they were nonbinary and was the name Umi they're first pick or was there a list they went through to get to that point?
Good questions!! Umi's name hasn't been legally changed, but they do have it updated on all their ID (except their birth certificate) so it's only rarely that they get called by it. For Umi they don't really have a lot of negative association with their birth name, in fact they still like it mostly because it was their mother that came up with it. Plus, Kaito still occasionally refers to them as 'Kaoru' accidentally, and it doesn't sting because it just reminds them of being kids and having Kaito look up to them like his own personal hero. They just don't think it suits them anymore which is why they came up with a new one....although their father refuses to call them by it which does get frustrating when they have brief contact with him on occasion.
'Umi' was kind of the first thing that popped into their mind when they thought about a new name; they first experimented with more feminine clothes around 11 and 12, and they thought it was a cutesy name that would fit a popstar like the ones they modeled their new fashion after. They pitched it to their mother shortly before she died and she loved the sound of it, so they never ended up coming up with any others and chose the one she liked.
