State fair time!!!

Unfortunately, I had to say goodbye to my college car yesterday:( I never thought I would have to anytime soon, but God had other plans for me! One part of that plan was that this weekend I got to buy my very first car! I'm so excited and can't wait to see the memories I make with this car! #ripcollegecar #hellonewcar

We said goodbye to the house I grew up in this weekend. It was a house that we moved into 22 years ago when I was just 3 months old and there was only 5 people in our family. Very greatful that we got this last family photoshoot at Easter. It was sad saying goodbye to a house full of memories, but I'm excited for the future and my parents' new house to be ready:) 🏡

Again, how did four years go by so fast?! I met this girl freshman year of college at a random cookout! Not only did we figure out that we kind of already knew each other through super summer but we found out we knew a lot of the same people! We became fast friends from then on and remained best friends even when she moved to Nashville! Thank you so much for spending the day with me and watching me graduate! Today I finished my last day of student teaching!! I'm excited because that's means I am closer to graduation and being a teacher! Though I'm excited, I am going to miss this place so much! I'm going to miss my 2 amazing mentors that I had the privilege to work beside and learn from!!! I am also going to miss my 80 amazing kids that I got to teach and inspired me every day! I was truly blessed to get placed at this school of amazing teachers! I can't believe I'm done!!!

Thank you to my amazing roommate @anthrogirl92 She decorated our house with light up balloons, a mini piñata, and got me breakfast from IHOP:) She is the best!! Thank you to all of my friends and family who really made me feel super special today:) I am one lucky person!

I have he best mentor teacher!! I was greeted this morning with flowers from her! Then, she got all of my 4th graders to sign a giant birthday card for me! They gave it to me while singing happy birthday right before dismissal:) I love my kids!! I can't believe I only have 3 days left!!!

Just finished my last day with my second graders! It is exciting because I am halfway to graduation, but also sad because I will not see my second graders every day! Im going to miss them, but I'm super pumped to start with my fourth graders on Monday! #futureteacher

My second graders just started spelling my name right😊 I just started my last week with them and I don't know if I'm ready to leave them on Friday!!

I went to the scholastic warehouse sale yesterday and got $385 worth of books for $77!! I got so many amazing picture books and chapter books and I didn't get anything for more than $5!! This makes me so excited for the future!! #futureteacher
