This is especially true on Tumblr. Most of the people I follow aren’t posting nude selfies. Most of them aren’t even posting clothed selfies. I seriously doubt I’ll ever be in the same room with any of you during my lifetime. Your bodies don’t matter to me. Your age doesn’t matter. Honestly, very little about your real life matters. Deep down, I just don’t care. What I do care about is whether the things you post make me smile. If I’m following you and reblogging you every day, it’s not because you have great tits. It’s because of something about the things your post, the comments you make or just the way you look at the world. Something about your mind and the way you express yourself on Tumblr makes me happy and I appreciate the hell out of that. I know people say thank you to their followers all the time, but this made me want to take a few minutes to thank the people I follow. You all brighten my day and waste ungodly amounts of my time and I’m glad you. You’re all good folks in your own warped, seriously disturbed way.
