Maxine immediately glared at the stranger disturbing her peace then immediately soften up as soon as she heard his intentions. “Thank you about that. Not a lot of people would do that.” 

Conrad knew his face must have shifted into thinly veiled fear at her glare, but he was quick to wipe that away and replace it with a neutral expression. “No problem, most people seem to feel extremely entitled, and most likely would have given it back and asked for their’s.”

Blocked by a truly gigantic bouquet of flowers, Percy twitched gently and sighed. He didn’t like getting stuck behind things, so he was as keen as a peach to help get on his way. “Oh, sure thing ese.” He smiled gently and took the flowers.

She watched as the arrow whizzed through the air but not if it hit its mark, eyes eyes going back to Conrad as she walked over to him. “Knives. I watched a youtube video of circus knife throws and got…intrigued.” As she said it she waved the pouch of celestial bronze throwing knives she had brought with her, she couldn’t help the slight blush as she spoke either, the idea sounded much more abused out loud then it had last night in her head. “Bow and arrows for you again?”

“Ah very nice, I’m not a bog fan of knives myself, much too up close and personal for my tastes.” He tells her with a small shrug. He’s never been good at up close fighting, ranged has always been much more his style. “Hey, sounds pretty cool though.” he notes, he knows he’s seen videos like that before, and scared himself shitless by trying to throw a knife the next day. “Of course, considering this bow is mine and mine alone. I don’t really use anything else.” He admits, rubbing his neck with an embarrassed laugh.

           alabaster pressed his hand against a section of the wall, and where his fingers were splayed out a rune pulsed in glowing green before fading back into the stone. when he heard his name, he glanced down the tunnels of the labyrinth in the direction of the sound. “who’s there?” he called out, his voice echoing off the walls. his eyes adjusted to the light of a nearby lamp and he blinked when he recognized who it was. “conrad?” it wasn’t unheard of for mortals to fall into the labyrinth—even with all the work done in recent years to make it more habitable and traversable, the tunnels were still growing and changing, much like a living organism. “—what are you doing here?”

Early morning training was starting to become somewhat of a routine for Natalie. With the lack of movement around at daybreak, it was the best time for her to really practice without fear of judgment. It didn’t hurt that the sunrise over the water turned the sky colours she just wished she could paint either. Some morning it would just be her and the training dummy for company, but there had been several occasions in which Conrad had been present too, which was nice. At least he talked back, unlike the straw stuffed punchbag. As the blonde entered the training area she spotted him straight away, which wasn’t surprising as he was the only other person around. “Goodmorning!” She called with a small wave, ever cautious of intruding. 

Conrad, while not at the camp everyday due to duties he had for school, always made sure he got practice in before the kids were up, so he was ready for training help when the time came. He wasn’t always alone, which he didn’t mind, as long as they didn’t try and use up his space. A common figure was Natalie, who he preferred over most. She was funny, and wasn’t fake nice like he felt some of the older demigods were. He was pulling his arm back to shoot off an arrow at an apple he had set up quite a bit away, when he heard a voice. He let the arrow loose, not bothering to see if it hit to look at her. “Hey, Natalie. What weapon is it this fine morning?”

“Well then we’re just gonna have to make sure it’s the best day ever, duh. Have you eaten? Should always start with the food.”

“I mean you really don’t have to..., Is there anything vegetarian?”

Orlando: no prob. anything else you'd like me to save?

Orlando: ok that's true

Orlando: see??? if we pushed through that we'd probably be billionaires under thirty

Orlando: wonder what would be the name of our totally sinful company tho

Conrad: no, nothing else thats all good

Conrad: we could make some money pretty quick, too bad we're stuck here at camp and New Athens/Rome

Conrad: i've got it

Orlando: cool cool. saving you some tofu dogs

Orlando: wow thanks for the compliment. youre not a shabby partner either. plus, who says it's only lucy who gets to nap between classes? :---)

“England. We have some good parties.” Danny knew when to not push something “So this is your first proper 4th of July?”

“Fun, and yeah pretty much why?”

“Wha- dude where are you from that they don’t have parties?”
