It had been a while since Danny had picked up his guitar mostly due to business, partly due to a lack of inspiration. But he had woken up this morning – okay it was 1:42 in the afternoon, details – with the sudden urge to strum a few notes on his old trusty acoustic. He had never been able to write music indoors, something all his teachers hated him for, so he found himself sat on a patch of grass with his legs crossed and a tatty notebook resting on his knee. Ignoring all his own writings Danny picked at the strings as he sang, “Oh I wish I was a punk rocker with flowers in my hair.”
