This might be the most confusing Chinese short drama I’ve ever watched.
The FL had a huge baby bump, so naturally I thought she was going to have a baby. But in the final episode, she was just with a dog—and she was calling the doggo “Baby.” What was that ending supposed to mean?!
If anyone understood this drama, please explain it to me! 🤣🤣🤣
This drama falls into the Chinese trope known as 追妻火葬场 ("chasing your wife to the crematorium"). It follows the classic "mistreat her now, regret it later" storyline: the husband abuses or neglects his wife, only to desperately try to win her back when it's already too late.
