you should listen to people with different experiences instead of surrounding yourself with only people like you because then you get this weird idea in your head that there is ANY disability or symptom or level of support or life expectancy or severity that makes abled people universally nice to you, or more nice to you, and that is not true
listen to people with different disabilities and chronic illnesses than you. listen to people who have been considered disabled their whole lives. listen to visibly and invisibly disabled people both. listen to people with terminal illnesses. listen to people with higher support levels. listen to people with additional marginalizations you don't have. listen to disabled people you don't have ANYTHING in common with
because there are experiences you're all completely unaware of and you would know how much of a fucking fantasy experiencing no or less ableism as a disabled person is if you ever just listened to people who aren't like you
