I don't mind it, exactly, though I don't care much about horses. I love sailing though, and finding beautiful places I haven't seen before. Still, I like the familiar ones best.

It depends! Sometimes the house in Rómenna where I grew up, or Rómenna in general, sometimes the farmlands of the Andustar--I went there once with Uilian.

I don't have any brothers or sisters. My father died when I was a small child--his health was ruined in the march to Rómenna, and he and my mother never had any other children. She and her father raised me.

It is! People who know my inclinations are always surprised--they think that keeping to some traditions means unthinking adherence to all of them, and hatred of anything new or different. But I do enjoy new things that don't hurt anyone, and I think pianofortes sound beautiful, particularly the one at the University. It has an enormous harp inside painted with swans and a rich, mellow tone.

Another student named Minalzîr, though I’m sure it wasn’t his birth name any more than Inzilbêth was mine. We took the introductory History of Beleriand course together. I felt very alone, as you can imagine, and was very careful about what I said—he wasn’t. He just up and told the professor one day that the textbook was blatant propaganda. I think he must have been fresh from Rómenna.

He was suspended of course, but a bit more pragmatic when he came back, and I helped him catch up on the coursework, since everyone else—even people who I knew were Faithful—seemed to think he might be contagious. We became friends that way and stayed friends the rest of his life.

If you look at the F1, F2, etc keys at the bottom of the screen (just above the skill bar), you can see that I have fire (F1) activated right now, and an option of water (F2). Earth and Air are still locked. I started with the basic skill in both Fire and Water.

My one fire skill, which you can see me using here, is Flamestrike. It's exactly what you'd think--you shoot flames at people and they take damage. Simple, effective, and satisfying on a bad day, though a bit dull after awhile.
