Arguably, a much funnier aspect that they couldve added to The Tools of Rust is if M'Tendere hadnt died at all, but had been shot and then recovered. The final scene is just them in the medbay harassing the SHIT out of the crew with constant melancholy guitar music. Jet's whole spiel about regrets? Entirely because now there isnt a moment of silence on the Carte Blanche. What's done is done, and the crew will now be listening to the Top Ten Greatest Hits of M'Tendere for the next 2 weeks nonstop.
