Ignatz's and Lorenz's friendship is so funny when you think about it. Ignatz's family quite well off for a commoner family, like he is the only born commoner in game whose tuition wasn't too costly (Leonie is in debt and Raphael had to sell if i remember correctly all of his belongings) or was already paid by someone else (Lonato paying for Ashe's and Mittlefrank Opera for Dorothea) Still from his POV: you know you're just a guy with not as much training as everyone else now studying a year at the military academy run by the archbishop, the same year as the heirs of the 3 nations are there + other successful linages.
