“My apologies, I was actually just trying to keep out of your way, Sir.” Vincent answered politely. He’d just been allowed out of his cell for his free time but he knew impatience wasn’t going to get him anywhere - it was why he’d stepped aside as the elite grew near. Perhaps it had looked like something more. He didn’t want to step on the wrong toes, not when it seemed his own claim was so near.
“that would usually involve stepping in the direction that i’m not heading in.” enzo had only been in the gardens in search of gabriel, but he hadn’t caught his scent so it lead him to believe he was still in his cell, or rented. “you’re rather old looking.” enzo said rather carelessly. “another pet i know is getting old as well,” if not older, he thought. “do you know what the cut off age is for humans like you?” he asked, genuinely curious because he was afraid something may happen to human pets. they got weak and frail in their older years.Â
