Anemone found the cold strange; even though sheâd been in the city for some time now, the cold air that whipped around the place during this time felt so foreign. Never had she lived in a place that had such a cold climate for any time, so having to bulk up on attire was a bit of a pain. Shopping for them wasnât, but piling on and peeling off the layers each day was becoming just one more thing for the pilot to get agitated with.
Yet, she didnât mind breathing in cold air. That felt⌠Nice. Possibly.
What didnât feel nice, however, was hearing someone yell right in front of you, and then them kick you for no reason. She hadnât even paid attention to the other girl on the bench she only happened to be passing by. Her balance swayed only slightly after being kicked, a short stumble to the side allowed Anemone to stay on her feet.Â
Of course, she was initially angry. How dare this stranger have a breakdown just as she was walking past? Anemone wasnât even doing anything for once! But, as soon as she saw the other girlâs face, that mixed expression of fear, concern, and surprise, made her anger dissolve completely. Instead, she burst into cruel, mocking laughter.
"Pfft â ahahahaha! Your, your faaaace! Ahahahahahaaa!â
   Sayaka found herself frozen again in mid nervous hover as the girl laughed openly at her dismay. If there was any reaction she had expected from the other, mocking laughter was last on the list. What was with her? It was probably preferable to her being angry... but man, being laughed at for showing concern ticked her off a little. This entire thing already left her feeling like the butt of some cosmic joke... aagh, she had the worst luck. Not that she did a great job of helping herself, but...
   Still. She had rudely kicked her-- she was at fault here, which managed to quell some of her ire. There were still acute spots of colour in her face as she cleared her throat slightly, though if they were from anger or the cold wind that had escaped her notice thus far was uncertain. Had it always been this cold? Sayaka had been plenty distracted since she'd wandered into the city streets with little more than the school uniform on her back. Being dead on arrival didn't leave one with many personal effects to carry around...
   But enough of that.
"R-right-- are you okay, though? I'm sorry for-- well, I'm sorry about that, I was kind of--" The magi trailed off into a frustrated sigh, finding it difficult to articulate what wasn't wrong here, scratching awkwardly at her head. That headache was still there and didn't feel like it would be going away any time soon.
