Do you have any advice for indecision? Iāve been wanting to start on my own project for a while now, but I just canāt decide on what to do. I feel to reluctant to commit to any of my ideas.
Wow thatās so weird! Iām literally struggling with the same thing right now!
Do I keep going with the Serpentās Tail thing I was doing? I sort of lost passion for it... Shall I try to freshen it up with a new direction or go do something else? Do something based on a book? Something more grim and cyberpunk? I havenāt got a clue!
One thing I do know is that I donāt want to do a project that is just based on what is trending or popular. It has to be something I really feel passionate about. Something I want to keep working on!
For now Iāve started doing exercises from a book calledĀ āCoffee Break Screenwriterā, not that I actually want to write a screenplay but it was the only book I found that had really helpfull exercises for coming up with ideas. And when I write those ideas out I can then tell they suck or are just total ripoffs :P
But at least it clarifies things a bit, just having all these half-formed ideas floating around my brainz itās so hard to settle on anything.
