i. sin lingers upon

   my lips. craving ecstasy-

   iron and whiskey.

ii. lost among traces

    of her smoked tobacco leaves,

    fangs piercing tension.

.

iii. elixir of life-

     it drips. dripping down my chin, 

     onto luscious breasts.

.

iv. she whimpers and begs-

  another bite. addict of

  the pain and pleasure.

.

Zeus: Lightning storms, signet rings, swirling a tumbler of whisky, eagles.

Poseidon: Ocean storms, crested waves, surfing, fish scales, tattoos.

Hera: Fur wrap, diamonds and more diamonds, nails drumming on the arm of a chair, crowns.

Demeter: Bare feet, vineyards, fig slices, dirt smudged over an apron.

Hades: Obsidian, walls of bones, silver chalices filled with red wine, suits.

Amphitrite: Glistening skin, pearlescent shells, hair hanging low over chest, coral reefs.

Hestia: Dusting flour from hands, vanilla spiced candles, fireplace, dazed smiles.

Aphrodite: Red lace, velvet couches, lipstick stains, love letters scrawled on the back of receipts.

Ares: Bloody knuckles, gritted teeth, bandages, targets barely standing, combat boots.

Hermes: Newspaper articles, winged high tops, a large grin, Old typewriters.

Hephaestus: Muscular arms beaded with sweat, molten metal, hands coated with grease.

Eros: White feathers, silk sheets, unbuttoned shirt, love bites on your neck.

Artemis: Moon stones, cosy lodge, footprints in the snow, Arrows, braids.

Persephone: Glossy red lips, dead flowers, sparkling gowns, marble floors.

Apollo: Sparkling skin, gold jewellery, opera houses, desert sands.

Hecate: Sigils carved roughly into stones, Seances, Black veils, Castle ruins.

Athena: Eyes like storm clouds, chess boards, old libraries, debates spoken by candlelight.

Dionysus: Blood red wine, theatres, candle lit banquets, grapes on the vine.
