lo/ki looked so adorable here

#recently bought the tpb of this comic and i can't stop picking it up and skimming through it every so often just to look at lo/ki #and i always keep coming back to this specific page cause it's both hilarious and cute to me #he was so happy to indirectly kill his brother :D #i also just really like how he's drawn in this comic in general #it's obvious my preference for lo/ki is him being all old and wrinkly and ugly #but i still love seeing him look youthful and handsome #i wanna pinch his cheek so bad

i feel like male/kith could've potentially been a tumblr sexyman if the mcu kept his personality and design a bit more comic accurate

#obv wouldn't have been on lo/ki levels of tumblr sexyman popularity #but man i feel like no one cares about him and the mcu is a bit to blame for that #cause now the average person just thinks he's some boring ugly fuck from a mid forgettable movie #and kinda related #but i dislike that his hair is completely straight now in the comics #he still looks good with it don't get me wrong #but idk why a lot of modern comic artists are allergic to drawing wavy or curly hair #sorry for the constant posts btw #just thinking a lot rn about th/or comic shit

sometimes i wonder if marvel will do anything with sig/yn other than making her "lo/ki's annoying stupid bitch wife"

#i am horrifically mixed on sig/yn #because on one hand she has little to no personality or development other than being lo/ki's wife #but one the other hand i can't blame her as a character since it's always been the fault of old comic writers #old comics have always had a huge issue with misogyny #and it's an absolute recipe for disaster when the character is meant to be a goddess of fidelity #some writers made it obvious her relationship with lo/ki was bad and that he treated her horribly #but i still think it sucks every appearance of her was just her being hurt or demeaned by lo/ki #and they haven't done anything with her since then #i don't even need her to reconcile with lo/ki or anything #(she should never forgive that man)#but just please do something with her other than accepting lo/ki's abuse #i know she appeared in that one marvel pride comic with lo/ki's other exes #but that wasn't anything to me in the long run #make her an actual character please

i still headcanon old comic lo/ki as bi and genderfluid

i know writers and the time didn't have that in mind and i know it wouldn't be considered canon, but i still like seeing him as deeply repressed

#it would make sense for him to be repressed #there have been instances/mentions of him taking a female form in older comics #but it's either done solely as a manipulation tactic or to make fun of him #so i just like to think he's repressed cause he doesn't feel like he'll ever be accepted #regardless of what he does #he doesn't go by an labels and just keeps telling himself he's cis and straight and has given up #my goat he just like me fr fr

i think th/or, lo/ki, and he/la being siblings is a fun dynamic at times, but i'll always prefer lo/ki being he/la's father

#let's be evil and kill th/or with mama #only benefit of he/la not being lo/ki's daughter in the mcu is that it shows he gets no bitches and i think that's funny #comic lo/ki is kinda bitchless too cause most of his advances get rejected (both in the old and new comics)#but he still gets some play here and there as a little treat #anyways #i also find it funny that he treats some of his children horribly while caring more for some of the others #(the apple doesn't fall far from the tree)#it's a little endearing to me that his half human daughter was one of the ones he treated better #since he's shown to not really like humans #he always says mortal like a derogatory term lol

i know rivals lo/ki is a different iteration and is mostly based off the mcu rather than the comics

but i do find it funny when people make headcanons about him that completely contradict huge plot points in the comics

#saw someone say lo/ki would never hurt a child #and that was really hilarious to me i'm sorry #even prior to the whole kid lo/ki plot there were a couple instances of him putting children in harm's way #he is ridiculously evil and that's what makes him fun

i have so many mixed feelings on lady lo/ki and the reason is mostly cause of how she's treated rather than her as a character

#being negative about stupid shit #i get kinda annoyed that any fem version of lo/ki gets called lady lo/ki #and that current fem versions of lo/ki exist but still get ignored #and i get why #lady lo/ki's design is iconic and gorgeous #but at the same time it sucks that everyone sleeps on fem ik/ol #it's also really jarring in official comics when they use an ik/ol comic design for the masc version #but then use lady lo/ki's design for the fem version #that's my biggest issue with double trouble tbh #but back to my first point #idk if people are just fucking stupid but fem lo/ki and lady lo/ki are two entirely separate concepts #lady lo/ki as a concept is eerie to me and i hate that most people just see her as “lo/ki as hot chick with boobs!!!!!”#and i get it i think she's hot too #but people forget it's not just normal genderbend comic shit and it bothers me #and i also dislike when she's just made to look like a generic conventionally attractive woman #she is attractive don't get me wrong #but she has an eerie and unique beauty to her that so many artists fail to capture #make her scary!!!!! shave off her eyebrows!!!! give her sharp facial features!!!!#i'm just rambling at this point and my thoughts are all inconsistent blehhh #i love her but she also leaves a sour taste in my mouth and that makes me sad #i divorced my wife...........................

#yes i censor artists too cause i don't want my dumb posts showing up in the search results for them #anyways they both draw lo/ki handsome in their own ways #i feel john did a better job at drawing lo/ki expressive and sinister looking #while sal did a better job at making lo/ki look snarky and mature (but not old/eldery like a lot of other artists did)
