Unity
I would teach everyone the value of unity if I could only teach one thing. The definition of Unity is the state of being one; oneness of mind, feeling, etc. Concord, connection, and peace are synonymous to unity; Disconnection, discord, and war are unity’s antonyms. In order to eliminate many issues within society and the world in general, everyone must live as one. Until we are united, resolutions for societal issues will never come; global issues will forever be left sitting on the back burner.
Abuse against women and hate crimes based on bias towards: Race, religion, disability, ethnicity, and sexuality run ramped throughout American society alone. Statistics show “over 22 million women in the U.S. have been raped in their lifetime.” Domestic abuse is another problem women face. “In 2011, there were 3,645 victims of racially motivated hate crimes. 1,480 were victims of anti-religious hate crimes. 1,572 victims were targeted due to a sexual-orientation bias. 939 were victims of ethnicity/national origin hate crimes. 61 had been victims of disability bias hate crimes.” Although it has improved throughout the years, women, minorities, etc, still experience inequality in the work force.
We are all united through the human race, instead of leaving it at this, we break people into sub groups based upon: race, religion, disability, etc. I think we should merely be aware of these sub group’s existences rather than focus on the differences stemming from them .When everyone learns and understands, we are all going through life together, we all leave similar bones when we die, regardless of race, religion, sexuality, etc. We are all human; we all deserve to be treated as such. When everyone unites as one race (the human race) the world and its inhabitants can begin to know peace, connection, and solve global issues.

I love unmade beds and warm chamomile tea with milk and a scoop of sugar . I love when people are so overcome by their thoughts and emotions they explode or break down and can not be anything except honest in that moment. I love the look in persons’ eyes when the light kisses the person sitting across from them and they realize , in that instance, they are in love . I love the way people look after waking up and forgetting their surroundings, their hair a mess, mind a little hazy ,skin rejuvenated , smile of comfort, completely natural, it's just so ..... beautiful . I love when people , tear up,gasp, or squeeze the hand of someone they love when their favorite character dies. I fall in love with vulnerability and truth. "I love when people close their eyes and drift to somewhere in the clouds.I fall in love with people and their honest moments all the time. Holding hands may seem like an innocent gesture, but they show more than a simple interlocking of fingers. Your hands are one of the most essential parts of your body: you build with them, feed with them, hold with them, touch with them, fight with them; they are the tools of the human body. To take a hold of another’s hand is to break from living individually.
