the mind replays what the heart wants to heal

people date nowadays because they want attention, validation and dont want to be alone. Not out of genuine curiosity and connection. Full of fake egotistical people using each other just performing love with projections and facade it makes me sick

i just want a quiet life, kids running and chasing butterflies in our garden, as my husband and I cook dinner and watch them smiles all around. He kisses my forehead and finally i feel contempt with our quiet little happy life.

im just scared i wont feel anything for anyone anymore.. my heart has been closed for years and its a quiet knowing only I am aware of. i cant feel my heartbeat it just feels like glass after so many heartbreaks & betrayals. hoping i can heal so no one gets hurt and that’s accountability im willing to take!
