As a follow up to my last post, because several people mentioned it, if you have to use AI to write your fanfic, you shouldn’t be posting fanfic at all. 🤷🏻

Not everyone is a fanfic writer! Some of us (myself included) are more drawn to analysis/commentary/shitposts. Some are fan artists. Some make memes, some do textposts, some create beautiful gifsets. There are so many ways you can participate in fandom without having to use AI. As many people pointed out, the fandom has been chugging along for 30 years just fine without all that stuff. And if you are someone that has used AI before, please don’t take these posts as shaming (especially if you’re like. a teenager or something). You are allowed to make mistakes. It’s just something to keep in mind.
