should he be in class? yes. but here he was, sitting in the grass underneath the shade of a tree. he breathed out a cloud of smoke, a rolled “cigarette” in one hand and his phone in the other. olly hated going to classes. he didn’t like sitting there, listening to some stuffy professor drone on about something or another. he much preferred his own self teaching method. which was skimming through the notes and hoping for the best on the next exam. there were several people scattered around him but the closest was a girl, writing away…or drawing or something. he didn’t know but he was trying to figure out without being obvious. clearly it didn’t work very well when she took out an earbud and spoke to him. “huh? oh — i’m good. sorry, i was just being nosey.” he admits with a soft chuckle. “are you drawing something?”
caroline was always a goody-two-shoes, never being one to skip class, be late, really anything that could make a tiny fracture to her reputation. caroline had always been that way, especially with her parents up her ass about grades and making sure her future was bright, she knew she didn’t have much room in her schedule to slack off. caroline enjoyed the little times of her days between classes where she could sit by herself, although surrounded by other students, where she could just ignore the world and create. caroline laughed a little, softly. clicking her pencil against her notebook a couple times before showing the other what she had been working on. it was a sketch of a girl sitting in a field of flowers. caroline wasn’t sure why, but she loved the look of sketching various flowers and the silhouette of people. it was one of her favorite things to sketch. “it’s nothing... big, but simple,” caroline shrugged.
Caroline was never one for conversation, usually just listening to her friends ramble for hours on end. Although she wished she could speak up for both herself and just a way of conversing. Maybe if she wasn’t so quiet she could gain the attention of her wedding partner. But such like Caroline, here she was in the middle of campus, sitting in a small field with earbuds placed perfectly in her ear, surrounded by a couple other students working on homework. Her pencil moved smoothly across her sketchpad, working on another piece. She was always working on something, she never wanted to put her pencil down. It was her chance to ignore the world. When she noticed that someone had glanced in her direction, she finally took her earbud out and sent a smile their way. Maybe it was time for her to make friends? “Hey.. uh, how are you?”

Whether it be studying every single type of plant and learning about their different functions or really anything she could learn about them. She loved visiting a local greenhouse, being surrounded by plenty of different flowers and plants, being able to be incredibly inspired and happy. She slowly moved through the greenhouse, her baby-doll dress perfectly hiding the little pregnancy bump. Usually, she would be buzzing from the each end of the store, but her pregnancy symptoms were a little bad today. As she walked, she moved towards another, looking at one of the most prettiest flower she had ever seen. “It’s so beautiful,” she mentioned to the other, a smile placed on her lips.
DJ didn’t have to prove herself to anyone, especially her parents. They already knew she was a ‘problem’ child, not orderly enough of taking on the family business. DJ didn’t mind, though. She would rather not be pinned down by her parent’s wants and beliefs, she would much rather move somewhere in the mountains, hiking, or maybe even starting her own business, one where she could grow successful without taking anyone down. She was ambitious, but only in her own beliefs. As she walked down the pathway, she couldn’t help but to let out an audible sigh, dramatic enough to get the other’s attention. “Do you want to get out of here? Skip a class, have fun?”

just like her younger sister, delilah comes from a rich family with old traditions, values and ways of life. ever since delilah was born, she knew that that was not the life for her. she rebelled any chance she could get, trying to prove to her parents that she wasn’t the right one for all of the.. legacy stuff. growing up felt like a pain for dj. she was extremely fortunate, but she felt like she didn’t belong. she was thankful for being so fortunate, but she would rather be herself than someone she wasn’t.
although she still holds herself to a higher standard, seemingly perfect, she definitely has lower standards than her parents. she is fervid ( intensely enthusiastic or passionate ) & erratic ( unpredictable )! she is very charismatic and never hides her feelings. because she doesn’t have to hide behind an image anymore, she has been incredibly free to be whoever she wants to be.
all her life, she saved a ton of money from allowances and babysitting a few of her parent’s rich friend’s kids, so by the time she was able to go to college, she could successfully move into her own apartment while still being able to afford college. she finds herself lucky in that way, but she’s extremely grateful for it.
her major is cosmetology, hoping to become a professional make-up artist and hair stylist! she’s extremely pumped about it and she’s even working part-time at a salon as an assistant and front desk where she takes appointments and answers phone calls and stuff!
she’s pretty much dreading the whole marriage program, seeing it as just another required class, not sure if she’ll actually learn anything. but other than that, come plot with her! please!

Circe waited patiently as the professor spoke, sounded like a personal call but she in no rush. “Um hi, no problem, I’m just here to see if it’s still okay for me to take some candid photos of your class next Tuesday?” It was a small project that focused on capturing passion and her take on it was to capture musicians and writer learning how to create and develop their own art. Few things were more passionate than the willingness to learn to become better at your craft. “I wanted to double check the time that it’d be best for me to come in. Yes, of course,” Olivia responded, quickly finding a pen and jotting down on her little desk calendar for next Tuesday before she forgot. “I’m actually incredibly excited to see how these photos turn out,” Olivia mentioned. It was her first year teaching and she loved being able to have a student come in and document it in a way, even if it was a few candid photos. Olivia was used to getting her picture taken, but this was definitely a different set up. “...And it’s okay if you... need to interrupt class for anything.” All she really wanted was to help in any way possible.
