Surprise Yourself

He’s disguised as the good guy. The guy that seems to be what’s right. Because he makes you happy. He says you’re meant to be. He’s blinded by what he wants in the moment. He doesn’t seek God’s will. I haven’t seen him once try.

God isn’t concerned with what makes you happy. That isn’t His first priority. It’s to see His will done and to see the furtherance of His Kingdom. If you obey God, follow in His will, and your heart is consumed by God, the you will be truly happy.

“You can identify them by their fruit, that is, by the way they act. Can you pick grapes from thornbushes, or figs from thistles? A good tree produces good fruit, and a bad tree produces bad fruit. A good tree can’t produce bad fruit, and a bad tree can’t produce good fruit.
