〝 Likewise. 〞

     The greeting was short, but not insincere. Giving the other an evaluatory glance, Christopher extended his own hand in order to give Simeon’s a firm shake. He wished he could say that Craig has told him a lot about his new boyfriend, but in truth, he’s been rather cagey about it all. While he made it a point not to pry, if only for the sake of his brother’s comfort, it was clear to him that there were some questions Craig didn’t feel comfortable answering. Perhaps because he simply didn’t know... Or perhaps because he was hiding something.

     Hopefully, Simeon would be more forthcoming in this respect. Best to hear it straight from the horse’s mouth, after all. 

〝 I’m afraid my brother is not here yet. Traffic’s got him running a little late. I’m sure you won’t mind waiting, though. 〞he paused, reaching up to adjust his glasses after releasing Simeon’s hand.   

London: My favorite is explaining the difference between a 'butt-dial' and a 'booty-call'.

England: It's called 'connotations'.

     “TO THE SURPRISE OF NO ONE, HE HASN’T,” now that France had more information on what was going on, making an assumption like that wasn’t so farfetched. It’s England we’re talking about, and if it somehow the matters involved yours truly, well the no wonder Grumpy McGrumpy didn’t approach him. Alas, truly a disgrace.

     “In any case, thank you very much for returning my briefcase. Goodness me, I was wondering where I had misplaced it,” a dashing smile formed on his face as he retrieved the briefcase from London. He only became aware of his absence a good chunk of the way back home, too late for France to return to where he came. “How can I repay you? Ah— How about I give you one of my finest wines?”

〝 Typical. 〞 Christopher sighed as he handed the briefcase over, before reaching up to rub his temple underneath the frames of his glasses.〝 I even asked the old codger to let you know. I do apologize, I would have given you some notice otherwise. 〞

     London let out a weary sigh. Well, nothing to be done about it now, he supposed. Fortunately, France didn’t seem too bothered by the intrusion. Or if he was, he was doing a damn good job hiding it. At any rate, he did what he’d set out to do, so he figured it would be best for him to leave. Until France presented him with an alternative, however.

     “CHRISTOPHER… WHAT A SURPRISE,” France accustomed seeing England himself more than London, so seeing him outside his door was definitely unexpected for the Frenchman. As far as he’s aware, today was his day off, and even then no visits were to be expected from anyone.

     A hand ran through his ( slightly messy ) blonde hair, pushing it back and off his face. Yep, that would be his best attempt at brushing it giving the unexpected guess. Had he knows, France would’ve looked more presentable! “What brings you here?”

〝 Good afternoon, France. 〞 London gave a small nod towards the other in greeting. 〝 I apologize for the intrusion, I just wanted to bring you the briefcase that you left at the meeting hall last night. 〞

     He held up a sleek-looking work case. He’d have returned it sooner, but he got back to his hotel at a rather disagreeable hour, so he decided it’d be best to simply wait until morning. Of course, Arthur simply told him not to bother. But in his mind, that only served as all the more reason to do so. 

〝 I’m going to go out on a limb here and guess that Arthur didn’t tell you I was coming. 〞
