17 at the Gocheok Sky Dome. The tagline of the event was, “The Last Festival,” and looking at it, Seungri began reminiscing about his days with the other members of BIGBANG as he said it reminded him of their song “Last Dance.”

Seungri said, “For us, ‘Last Dance’ represents memories. We released the song in the hopes that people would remember the last dance we all shared together.”

He then went on to say, “If you found out that tomorrow is going to be your last day, how should you live today? Personally, I think the only things you’re left with in life are your memories. What really matters isn’t becoming famous or making lots of money. What really stays with you no matter what is how you lived your life with the precious people who love you.”

I am so sorry for my mistake, also from now on, I will work hard and promise that things that might hurt fans will not happen in the future. I like to make fans happy more than anyone else, also that’s why from now on I hope to keep an eye on my image. I live a really hectic life, I actually can make mistakes towards the ones precious to me. I think I need to express my emotions more towards my family, friends, fans too. 

Talking is needed, I think the fans and I need to talk. After his apology, he basically tells us how it’s hard for him to be honest with his feelings and express them openly to the people closest to him, such as family, friends and even fans.

He says it’s difficult bc he can find it embarrassing, and he tells us how recently his mother was hospitalized (she’s prone to developing kidney stones and went to do a removal procedure) and a bit in shock, he went to visit her and he was standing there by her hospital bed and he didnt know what to say, bc asking if she was okay seemed ridiculous.

She ended up talking to him about business since she manages an aori and he got upset, saying she should focus on her health first and she in turn got upset saying that she doesn’t see her son often so when else would she talk about such matters. so he closes up by saying he’s been thinking a lot lately about how expressing his feelings and communicating with family and also fans is necessary and he needs it .

Seungri… I’ve been thinking what can I do to make you feel better, what can I write so my words can reach you, what can I say so people will understand… But I always end up with the same answer: nothing. As a fan I have no power, this past days I’ve felt frustrated because I can’t do anything to help you, to make people open their eyes and minds to you… 

And I’m so sorry, I’m so sorry they don’t want to understand you, I’m so sorry they judge you even tho they don’t know you, I’m sorry they’re always trying to dictate your actions and life and I’m so so so sorry they take you for granted. I think that’s the worst part, those fans who attend bigbang’s or your concerts really often in Korea, those fans who constantly meet you at airports and events, those fans who don’t need translators to read your captions, those fans who can watch your shows for free on tv, those fans who have known you since you were just 15…those are the same fans that take your existance for granted, who take your love and patience for granted, who take you as a bigbang member for granted.

 For someone like me who lives thousands of km away from you, who have only see you once live despite all the years I’ve been your fan, who have to pay to watch usually low quality contents, who have to pay an expensive shipping cost to receive your album, who can only see and hear you through an screen and speakers, for fans like me your everyday posts mean a lot, your cute captions make our days better, your livestreams are blessings and your songs our energy source. We don’t take your for granted Seungri, you’re special, you’re unique and amazing. I won’t blindly follow you, I have my own life and opinions, but at least I promise to respect you, to respect your friends, and your choices. 

It’s your life Riri and you own nothing to anyone, you’ve already given them your youth and hard work, you give give and give but they don’t want you to take. I understand if you’re tired, I’d be exhausted in your place too but please 🙏🏼 when you feel better and ready please do comeback to us, to us who care about you as a person over you as a celebrity, us who know you’re a human before an idol. I understand u❤

Sincerely baffled by narrow minded people. They demad more for him they want to controll him, so sad. I hope they open up their heart for Seungri. He deserves it so much. He gave us soo much.
