WEEK 5&6 (CONTINUATION OF INTERVIEW WITH CEA STUDENTS)
Week 5
To ensure that the group's preferred product would be marketable in the future, more data was sought after. This week, we kept speaking with various CEA department students.
Again, the questions were:
1. What are your daily struggles as an (Engineering/Architecture) Student?
2. What is the most convenient/cheapest (engineering/architectural) tool you have?
3. What is the most expensive tool you have yet most useful?
4. As an (engineering/architecture) student, which of the following tools do you think is the most useful?
- A Measuring Tool - A Cutting Tool or - A Planner
5. Why do you prefer this tool?
As a group, we experienced multiple rejections from students whether they were busy, shy or some were not in the CEA department.
Our hypothesis is that we looked forward and anticipated that we could hit our desired number of students for the week.
We interviewed random CEA students and as a result, we couldn't hit our desired number of students due to a lot of rejections.
We decided we could continue the interview by Week 6.
Week 6
The ABCD group returned to school to continue the interview. The group devises a plan to streamline and expedite the interview process. Since there are four people in this group, we divided them into two groups. Oliver and I were in one group while Kier and James were in the other. We posed the same inquiries to a few unrelated CEA department students.
Our hypothesis was that we could hit our quota.
The group was split into two groups with two members each so we could interview people a lot faster and easier. As a result, we were able to hit our desired number of interviewees.
The group were then finally able to compile all the gathered data that were conducted for the past weeks.
