Gender Identity & Social Norms

Haakonism. 

It led me to exploring other possible layers of “self” and how some may be more transparent than others depending on external environments, much like a chameleon, which was an interesting link to biomimicry.  

Along with the journey, the concepts I have been exploring are different ways we might be able to capture a glimpse or snap shot of a moment in time. The “Self-Reflection” idea is a mirror with camera  built in surrounded by a halo of ambient hues to allow the user to adjust accordingly to how they are feeling in that moment. Eventually there would be a digital archive to look back on and see progression over time. 

I’ve been very drawn to the journey that one goes on over the years. I’ve been mapping out different digital ways we collect or record those journeys and experiences.
