It's not easy to see nor tell what you are at first— you stay clear of them for a few miles after they escape Cassandra, but Logan can smell your dull and metallic scent on the winds and is aware enough of that to keep an eye out, but either Wade doesn't know or doesn't care and keeps distracting him. Logan only knows you're actually a living thing and not just a trick of his mind until he meets the survivors group of hero's that got pruned in Gambit's hideout, seeing you standing in the back shadows like some kind of menacing monster and instantly recognizing your smell. You wear your mask and combat gear, but the most noticeable thing to Logan is your entire left mechanical arm. The metal plates and gears shift together whenever you move, sparking wires when you push your arm a certain direction.
No one really acknowledges you except Laura and Wade, but he only gives you a big gasp and a quip of "the Winter Soldier too?!" before getting caught up in the task of convincing everyone to take down Cassandra. Even so, Logan can't help but stare at you sometimes, acutely aware of your presence and how dead silent you are. You don't talk, you hardly move, but Logan can tell you listen to everything with a vivid sense of attention.
When the hours pass into night, when Laura talks to Logan by that fire pit, he follows her back into the camp after a few long moments and into a separate room overlooking the forest that surrounds the back. It's easy to follow her but he's sure that's just because she knows he is, walking into the room to see you hunched over a table and digging into the machinery of your arm. You clink around with a screwdriver and welder, moving your metal fingers occasionally to see if you fixed anything. When you see Laura though, you pause, letting her grab the screwdriver from your available hand and helping you. You do not flinch when she pokes and prods, so Logan can only assume you don't feel anything or have the pain tolerance near Logan's own, but either way it's an interesting sight to see the two of you huddled together.
Logan shifts his weight on the doorway, rubbing his knuckles distractedly. Your mask is off, letting him see your face clearly, your eyes staring hard but not entirely unkind at him from your spot by the table. You're attractive, in a begrudgingly way to Logan. He's not used to being attracted to someone, no matter if it's a man or not, and it freaks him out a little— so he buries that feeling deep within himself to ignore.
When the fight comes the next day, when everyone is in the middle of their own world and killing, is when Logan actually sees how deadly you are. Your fast, strong, and take the fight on like you have nothing to loose or gain. When the fight ends though, when Cassandra is gone and everyone is crammed into Wades shitty apartment, Logan thinks about you with a heaviness he doesn't expect. You are there too, of course, but for some reason he doesn't know how to interact with you, especially since he hasn't heard you talk once all this time and how you have this brooding demeanor that rivals Logan's own.
But you interact with Laura with hand gestures and sometimes a whisper to the ear, but he never hears and never tries to actually listen since it's not him you are talking to. Still, you cling to Laura's side unless she's in the middle of a bigger group or conversation, and it's only when Logan gives Dogpool to Wade again is when he fishes you out.
You're by the boxed off kitchen, leaning against the wall near the fridge with a red solo cup that Laura obviously is making you drink, just holding it awkwardly in your hand. You have your combat gear still on but there's a red flannel on your shoulders over the rest to hide your arm, not that it really matters in this crowd, but you seem insecure about it. Logan pretends to be there for something else, obviously— getting another round of fruit punch before he acknowledges you.
"So what's up with you?" He tries not to actively be an ass, but it's hard considering you acutely remind him of himself. Your eyes turn to stare at him, and even without your facial mask covering the bottom half of your face you are still stoic and nonchalant. You don't answer him for long enough that Logan almsot shrugs and calls the whole attempt off— but then you answer in a quiet, albeit rough voice.
"I don't know how to socialize." You say it so pitifully that Logan stops all his movements to consider the situation. He nearly wants to groan in frustration because, even though he is trying, he really doesn't want to try sometimes. But you stand there sadly and still and Logan does internally groan this time.
"Well," He says going to stand next to you, though a comfortable distance away. "How do you know Laura?" You don't turn to the side to look directly at him, but he can feel your surprise radiating off of you at his attempt at socializing. Shifting from foot to foot, you answer slowly.
"I was pruned when I didn't kill Howard Stark, so I'm not- I wasn't in a good headspace. Laura found me before Cassandra did and helped me be... human again." You continue to look forward awkwardly, but you do seem more comfortable the more Logan listens to you.
Logan sits with your explanation for a moment, letting himself have the opportunity to think over his next words. It's not everyday someone like you comes into his life, and he doesn't even mean that you're attractive— he means how complex you are, especially with your long past and how you're trying to find yourself again. He can relate, honestly. When he met the X-Men— Charles— for the first time, Logan wasn't anywhere like he is before they died, or even who he is nowadays. He was a shell walking through life with no help, only looking to survive instead of live. So, yeah, he can understand, but actually seeing someone else be like that hurts in a very vulnerable manner.
"Do you have a place to stay?" He blurts out, surprising himself. You don't show much emotion besides what you reply.
"Laura said I could stay with her." You pause for a moment, pondering. "But I'm not sure what I'll do in this world, especially if their Winter Soldier is still... here." You talk slowly, trying to keep up the conversation yet also trying not to be depressing.
"I'm sure Wade wouldn't mind an extra roommate." Logan says, not caring if Wade actually cares or not because either way he's sure Wade can be persuaded by a couple good stabs.
You actually turn to look solely on Logan now, obviously shocked at the prospect, but you don't seem unwilling either. You let it sink in for a moment, and that's when Logan sees you smile for the first time.
It starts like that, although slowly. You eventually do talk to Laura and Wade about the apartment situation— Laura is obviously very pleased with this outcome if her expression is anything to go by, and Wade is actually quite happy too— but you do talk to Al about it too, who says you and Logan eventually do need to make an income if you can live here. You're not surprised nor upset by this— if you're gonna live in this new world you need employment unfortunately, but you also know the TVA set you up with your own documents to help with that.
You sleep on the couch that rolls into a bed and (some awkwardness on his part aside) Logan eventually bunks with you. You're not complaining at all— when you were in HYDRAs hands the situations were very vastly different and worse, so loading up with someone is not uncomfortable for you, especially when this person is not actively trying to kill you. But also because of this, you are used to curling up into tight spaces despite your bigger size and you don't understand why Logan finds that sad at first, so you stick to one side of the couch bed easily. When Logan realizes the reasoning for this, he slowly starts to move into your space each night. You're not complaining with this, either.
When you're not asleep, you've found yourself a bouncer job at the local nightclub down the street, just near enough that you can walk there. With the Super Soldier Serum still in your veins that grant you heightened senses and strength, it's a relatively easy job, though you get home at weird hours. This isn't really a problem since Logan hardly sleeps, Wade is Wade, and Al has a separate room. But if you're not sleeping before work, Laura has taken it upon herself to teach you how to bake and do laundry the "normal" way, which basically means not just stealing someone else's clothes or washing out primarily blood.
But it's... nice. It's domestic and healthy, two things you aren't accustomed to, and it gets even better since Logan always joins too. At first he didn't— he made it very apparent that he knew how to do these things and found no fun in it, especially baking— but then he joined anyway and hasn't left since. Maybe it's for you, maybe it's for Laura or maybe it's for other reasons you don't know, but you're happy he's around. He's never really involved with the process, but he always stays around to quip or talk about whatever Laura talks about, sometimes just asking you about your job.
Since you technically have no name in his dimension, it's easy to blend into life and start new, but honestly Logan is the one that makes you realize that. He's not nice, he's mean and tough, but then he asks about your day or makes sure you're comfortable when there's a crowd or finishes your dinner plate secretly just so Wade doesn't get offended that you didn't have a lot of his food. You don't understand immediately that you love him, and he can say the same. You just do, and he just does, and it's perfect, even when it's not perfect.
Overtime, you gradually heal your inner wounds and Logan does too, if not slowly, but it happens nonetheless. You kiss him one night coming home from work after waking him up by bouncing on the couch bed, making him grumpy then happy when you suddenly kiss his face. It's obviously unexpected, but it's too easy to continue kissing and loving on him, especially when he reciprocates, and that's how you fall asleep: tucked under him as he sleeps nearly on top of you, nose in your neck and smiling. You both sleep in til one in the afternoon, only waking up from the Dogpool climbing over you both.

Anonymous asked: Ooohhh König with a short boyfriend? Someone jokingly asks about the height difference and his bf says “I have to climb him like a damn tree every time I want a kiss, it’s annoying.” And König’s like “you can ask me to bend down, you know.” “Nah, you’re my personal jungle gym.”
summary: König loves his pilot boyfriend, even if he is a bit of a pain.
tws: swearing, smoking
König was a lot taller than you, and although you did love him ever so dearly, you had to admit: it could be a pain in the backside and a half to be physically affectionate sometimes. But you made it work, and although some of your fellow pilots in the RAF did tease you for it, it was all in good nature and was not anything other than banter.
Often, when you were off of work for a while König would come home with only one thing in mind: cuddling you; he loved how you seemed to fit so well in his embrace, your head on his chest as he laid a large hand between your shoulders and an arm around your waist while some old song by Sodom or Slayer played quietly, too tired and worn out to talk, too overwhelmed with seeing you at last to even consider opening his mouth, he always kissed you too much for that.
But his favourite thing by far was when he would come to the air field; he loved to watch you land your plane - the Red Kite - while Perveen, Bashar, Pahwa and Cohen landed behind - their planes being the Golden Eagle, Peregrine Falcon, Red Tailed Hawk and Bearded Vulture respectively. What made König love it so much though was not the planes themselves or how they were painted to look like the birds they were named after, but it was how you reacted to seeing him stood on the tarmac.
Without fail, he would bring a thermos of your favourite coffee and would have two cigarettes ready to be smoked; when you first became his boyfriend, you said once that you loved a coffee and a smoke when you landed, and König never forgot.
He was dressed down as he stood on the tarmac, a camo print hoodie in dark green and trousers of the same, but sporting a bright orange beanie hat. If he remembered correctly, you had gotten that hat for him for his birthday as a present a few months after you first started dating, the thought of which made him smile as he felt the rain gently tap, a warning that it was about to start pouring.
Although it was going to be awful, the weather was actually on König's side, as it had meant an early return for the pilots who had been out on a training exercise, it meant his boyfriend would return early.
He watched the Red Kite eagerly, and when it came to a full stop and you climbed out, he grinned.
"Ah, fuck! Shit! Shit! Fucking shit! Why'd it have to fucking rain right as I fucking-" your little rant of complaints came to a halt when you saw König.
A grin spread across your features, and you quickly made your way towards him, running until you crashed right into his body, pressing your face against him as you tightly held onto him. "Hi, Maus."
König eagerly returned the embrace as he smiled. "Hallo, mein geliebter... bist du gut?"
You nodded. "Now I got you, yeah... ich bin sehr gut... und du?"
"Ich bin super," he admitted, unable to stop grinning as he held you tightly. "Wie war dein Flug?"
You shrugged. "Okay... fuck, I missed you."
He gently pulled back, and when you jumped into his arms to kiss him, he couldn't help but to laugh softly; kissing you back eagerly before he gently set you down again, resting his forearm on your head.
"Hey, (y/n)!" Parveen called, grinning from ear to ear. "How'd you kiss him?"
You shrugged, waiting for him to get closer before you dared to answer, "how'd you think? I have to climb him like a damn tree every time I want a kiss, it's annoying as fuck, mate."
König looked down at you for a moment, his brows furrowing. "You can ask me to bend down, you know, Bärchen."
Gently, you tapped his stomach as you shook your head. "Nah, you're my personal jungle gym... besides, it's like a positive reinforcement thing."
He cocked his brow, trying not to smile as he let his hand slip to your shoulders, resting between them as he slowly moved his thumb up and down, letting you lean into him. "You could still ask me to Kuss you."
"I'd rather not," you shook your head, licking your lips as you smiled. "It's more fun this way."
"Why don't you just punch him in the stomach?" Perveen jokingly asked. "That'll make him bend down."
König glared at the Squadron Leader. "Don't encourage him, bitte."
You were about to open your mouth, let off some smart ass comment, when König shoved his hand into his pocket, and gave you a cigarette and a lighter; he bent down, picked up the thermos, and held it out for you, doing his best not to smile when you eagerly lit up your cigarette and held it between your lips as you opened the thermos and let the stench of coffee hit you.
Sure, you could be a pain, you could be a nightmare, but König adored you, and he honestly couldn't wait until he had you back home; he couldn't wait to feel you in his embrace and to hold you so tightly, bouncing on his heels slightly as he waited for you to smoke your cigarette and drink your coffee. He knew you loved and needed it.

synopsis. who knew that saving the fate of the universe with your best friend would lead to you discovering different multiverse versions of him?
pairing. andrew!peter parker x reader
genre and warnings. mostly movie canon, none gender specific reader, strong language, movie canon violence, strict parents, age gap(?), height difference, bisexual Peter | — literally just straight fluff, giving andrew!peter the comfort he needs.
There you sat in your usual local coffee shop, the cafe you would linger inside with your backpack occupying the seat across from you.
The strong stench of brewed coffee and stale bread lingered in the air as your homework sat idly scattered about on the table, accompanied by your ancient MacBook that was poorly decorated with stickers you had ordered when you were in middle school.
Sitting with your elbow perched on the surface of the table, your chin resting comfortably in the palm of your hand.
Your fingers lightly drumming against the soft of your cheek, lips pouted as your other hand danced against the touchpad of your laptop music sounding through your earbuds.
Scrolling through college scholarship information, Ned and Peter had emailed you in hopes of getting you interested in attending the dream college they all planned.
The boys made an offer to help you search for programs and courses that you would also like to complete alongside theirs, not wanting you to feel left behind as they had drastically different hobbies than you did. It comes as no surprise that you were never really much of a math or science guy.
So your two best friends help you as much as they can with the whole "college application" thing. It was also their first time doing the rundown of applying for scholarships with their sparkling clean-looking grades.
At the very least, you had a long history of sports to make you look good on paper.
Though you were in a drastically different cliche than your friend group, you were still really close with everyone. You were close enough to know that Spiderman was your best friend, Peter Parker. Of course, you had to force the information out of Ned, who struggled to keep secrets from you as it was.
You were tired of feeling left out during the awkward period that the two teenage boys would whisper about to themselves, sharing glances and excluding you from things after school, stumbling to make valid excuses around the Stark internship.
It only took a surprise ambush and rushed into Peter’s bedroom while he was off guard to see him all dressed up in his super suit. The worst that you were expecting was to catch him during "alone time".
Trying to wrap your head around the fact that the reason that your friends were being shady was all just because Peter was Spider-Man and he was out and about being an Avenger right under your nose.
Your idle reading was interrupted quite quickly. From the side of your eye, you caught glimpses of the mounted TV showing important news about Spiderman.
You wouldn't think much of it at first, being used to having a secretly famous best friend, but what unsettled you a bit was the random couple that slammed open the door of the cafe in a strange rush.
The male apologized for his partner's aggressiveness as she waved at the barista in a hurried distraught. "Yo, they're talking about Spiderman. Gotta turn it up."
As your heart dropped, the barista, along with everyone else that was startled in the small cafe, turned their attention towards the two small flat screens. As the volume was turned up, the room fell into still silence. You tugged on both earbuds to get a better listen.
“Spiderman’s name is Peter Parker.”
The announcement was enough to make you shoot up from your chair. Your eyes widened as Peter’s school picture was shown on national television, not only being exposed as a superhero but also being linked to murdering Mysterio.
It only took your mind a moment to fully process everything as J.J. Jameson’s voice seemed to echo through your head like an annoying song being stuck on a loop, your hands trembling as your body switched to autopilot.
Slamming your laptop closed and stuffing your belongings back into your backpack. Obviously, you had also swiped all of the cafe's packets of salt and sugar along with your homework and notebooks.
Your fingers were fumbling to unlock your phone screen as you pushed your way outside along the public sidewalk. It seemed like everyone outside had gotten the news as well.
On the street where you were reacting to the news of Spider-Man's identity being revealed, You could only feel panic as you dialed Peter’s number, his number going straight to voicemail as you hurried down the street.
You did not notice that you were already traveling in the direction of Peter’s home until you recognized the flash of red and blue swinging in the air alongside the small mob of people pushing past you to follow the masked boy that swung through the streets in a hurry.
Your phone vibrated in your hands. You could only watch as people ran to follow Peter from the ground, glancing at the caller ID for only a second before answering.
You practically screamed into your phone, "Ned, are you seeing this shit?"
To say that the weekend had erupted into chaos wasn’t enough to describe the following weekend when everyone had found out about Peter’s identity. In just the short span of two days, your life was flipped upside down.
The moment that your parents found out about your involvement with Peter, let alone a superhero, they went into strict mode.
Your parents were lecturing you on who you should involve yourself with.
Your mother was screaming at you for being so reckless, putting your life at stake, taking your phone away just so you could cut all contact from your friend group, and grounding you from leaving the house, along with pulling you from school for the week just so they could keep a close eye on you until the news settled down.
The FBI knocking on your door only adds more fire to your parent's overprotective flame. The two detectives settled into your family room as they questioned you and confiscated all of your devices.
You were slightly more revealing that you had the advantage of having your mother by your side. As they tried to intimidate you with their questions, as any mother would, yours was quick to defend your public image.
Her words paint you as a clear victim being roped into your friend’s antics, saying how you were clearly just a hopeless child being forced into hanging out with them.
"My baby would never do anything that stupid to endanger their life. They barely even knows how to wash their clothes. What makes you think they would even, let alone help a murderer?" Your lips curved into a tight smile as your mother spoke to you, not knowing that her words would catch the limelight of the news about Peter.
Her words were bolded in headlines as yet another story stuck in the news about Peter being the sole mastermind that managed to swindle you, MJ, and Ned into his secret killer spider cult, portraying your entire friend group as victims.
"Well, until we go out to college, I’m practically grounded." You sighed, leaning against the counter.
Your parents only allowed you to leave the house for basketball practice since everything had bubbled over.
You were happy that your parents didn't know much about your practice schedule or the fact that your coach and the entire team had practically shunned you the moment news was spread about you.
Instead, you used the time to turn the corner and hang out with everyone during MJ’s shaft, which was practically the only time that you were able to talk to your friends since your mother had forbidden you from seeing them again.
"And when we get into MIT, we better move in together. If I have to deal with my parents hovering any longer, I swear I’m going to lose it." You sat across from MJ as she stood dressed in her uniform, a bright blue button-up dress, her arms covered by her white long-sleeved undershirt to keep her warm.
"And what if we don't get in?" As she wiped down the counter, MJ’s wariness about the entire situation was evident. The spillover of everything felt like a thick thundercloud looming over your friends.
It had been a difficult few weeks for all of you, being linked to Peter ruining not only your reputation in the city but also leaking into your personal life every college opportunity that you sought out, slamming the door on you the second they would do a background search. You could only sigh at the question, not wanting to think about the worst.
"I think it’s at least nice to have hope." Your moping mood quickly changed as a small smile replaced the frown on your lips, Ned interrupting with his overbearingly positive outlook on everything, chiding MJ’s negativity.
When Peter crawled up to your bedroom window in the middle of the day, asking for you to come with him.
It only took your moment to jump from your desk and stumble down the stairs to lie to your mother about how you had forgotten about the couch and needed you to stay a bit longer for practice to catch up on not being in school for a while.
Once you had slipped out of the front door with your gym bag tucked under your arm, hiding the bag in a bush as Peter broke down everything on why he needed everyone’s help along the way, but what you were more interested in was the mentions of the so-called "wizard".
You had heard many stories from Peter about his adventures of practically being an Avenger that you and Ned would soak up the moment he would tell you guys, but there was something different about being acutely involved in helping him and helping him firsthand that made you a bit more nervous.
Which was why you couldn't keep your hands off of anything the moment you stepped foot into the Sanctum Sanctorum. You felt like you were a child on a field trip the moment you stepped foot into the ancient building.
You struggled a bit to find your footing as your sneakers crunched under the thick layer of snow on the floor.
You looked around the room in almost the same amount of amazement as Ned, just slightly more confused since you didn't really know much background about the building's history and just thought it was a big and cool-looking building that had a cool-looking wizard guy inside.
"I’m so sorry for dragging you guys into this, but you just got to help me find these guys." Peter’s voice echoed through the building as he explained.
You and Ned were not paying much attention as you pulled him by the elbow of his jacket towards a table for cool-looking trinkets that lay on top of a desk covered in snow.
You picked up one of the books that lay about, not really understanding the scribbles of whatever language it was titled in, still flipping through the pages, your brows frowning at the odd drawings and symbols that littered the pages before setting it back down.
"So how did the bad guys get here?" Ned asked as you turned around to gesture in agreement to his question, also curious.
Before Peter could open his mouth Steven answered everyone's attention, turning to the older man as he traveled up the grand staircase.
"He screwed up a spell trying to get you into college." His voice echoed in the room as it took you a moment to fully process what was said. It only took a second for MJ and Ned to bombard Peter with questions.
"No, that was after. Let's just focus on the good news, okay?" Peter answered nervously.
"No," Steven interrupted the teenagers looming over them all, not bothering to hide his obvious annoyance with the situation. "Let's just focus on the bad news."
Your brow quivered in confusion as your arms crossed over your chest as the man continued to speak.
"As of now, you have detected zero multiversal trespassers, so get on your phones, scour the internet, and... Scooby-Doo this shit." MJ was the first to bite back, given her strong attitude, clearing her throat as the attention shifted over to her.
"You're telling us what to do even though it was your spell that got screwed up, meaning that all of this was kind of your mess." MJ gestured as Steven tilted his head at her words.
"You know, I know a couple of magic words myself, starting with the word please." She finished as everyone turned their heads to glance up at Steven, his brows shifting as he gave a face surprisingly following suit to her request.
"Please, Scooby-Doo this shit." He asked, giving a forced smile, "You can work in the undercroft." He added the wet sound of his boots against the snow, departing as he turned and walked away.
“The undercroft?” Ned spoke with excitement.
Peter guided the group down to the basement, standing at the doorway as Ned was the one to take the lead, most excited to see what was lying in the dark room.
His hands reached up to tug on the light switch as the room's contents revealed themselves under the dim yellow bulb.
"Now I know I'm not a wizard or anything, but isn't this just the basement?" You uttered, as Ned gaped at the things scattered about.
"Guys, listen about this whole spell thing—" Peter spoke as your eyes widened as Ned smiled at you, showing off the dusty crossbow in his hands.
"It's totally okay." MJ interrupted, clearing Peter of any worry, the brunette glancing at her in a slight surprise that she was the one to easily clear his worries.
"Yeah, I mean, I get it you were trying to fix things, and so maybe just try to run it by us next time, you know?" MJ comforted him.
"Pete, if you're ever going to do the whole 'making a decision that involves my friends or could affect the world' thing, you should ask for some opinions first so we can help you, you know man." You added, as MJ pointed out in agreement.
"Deal," Peter agreed, his face filled with gratitude for the friendship he shared with you two. "Ned?"
"Oh, dude, I don’t care. It’s seriously not a big deal." He concluded, mostly more interested in the new things that lay about in the basement, his attention completely taken up by the crossbow still in his grasp.
"Oh, a torture rack!" he exclaimed, hurrying towards the tall object.
“That is a pilates machine.”
After being introduced to the multiverse of bad guys that had broken into your timeline, the group searched the internet for any more mysterious beings that seemed to come from a different universe.
Through police reports, Ned managed to locate one more monster. The plan to capture him was seemingly stable until the unexpected happened, capturing not only one but two villains during one mission.
Along with being introduced to a scrawny crazy white guy, one that muttered your name or at least a variant of your name when you introduced yourself, along with MJ.
To say that the day that unfolded was different wasn't enough to describe how absolutely confused you were that the entire thing had unfolded.
New information has been discovered that the villains that were captured were just people that were just about to die the moment that they had been teleported to your timeline.
You had to admit it was sad seeing the men struggle with the news that they were all fated to die just to save your timeline.
You were proud that Peter, who betrayed Steven, snatched the magic cube and decided to save the men instead of just allowing them to die.
The new plan was a little beyond your comprehension or understanding, but what mattered most was that you got the point: protect the magic box thingy at all costs.
The haven that you guys decided to settle in was Ned’s home. Lola welcomed you guys in with no questions the moment you lifted the cube in sight.
You had passed the time while waiting by watching the news and keeping an eye on Peter via whatever you could find on the internet.
Your heart was pounding with worry all day, not only because night had fallen on your best friend, but also because you knew the moment you stepped foot inside your house, your parents would do more than just ground you for sneaking out.
As you all sat around the dinner table, eyes glued to the television, as the news went on about some explosion, it only worried your friends more, as all they could do was hug their phones and wait for some type of signal from Peter.
"I’m going to press it." MJ sighed, glancing at the cube. You leaned up against the dining room chair, glancing at the woman in worry.
"Maybe he just needs more time." You offered. Not wanting to think of the worst about Peter’s plan, you hoped that whenever Peter was that he was still alive.
"I know he told me to wait, but I'm going to do it." MJ settled.
"I just wish we could see him." Ned sighed, gesturing, a spark catching everyone's attention in the room as the mood quickly shifted.
"I just wish we could see Peter." Ned tried once more to copy the gestures that he would see Steven Strange do, balling his fist and circling his other hand that wore the ring. In front of you, in thin air, appeared a slicing orange circle, tracing out the environment of an alleyway.
Inside of the circle stood a dark figure, hard to make out. All you could see was the familiar spandex suit as everyone called out to him. He was practically waving to get his attention.
It seemed like the moment he had noticed something felt off. Your eyes squinted as the masked figure stepped closer, your body instantly backing away, using the kitchen chair as a shield between you and the portal.
The room came to a halt, as the man slightly ducked his head to step through the portal, giving your friends enough clues to piece together that the person that stood in front of them wasn't the Peter that they had known.
Ned’s grandma yelled in shock as the man vocally greeted everyone. If his tall height wasn't enough to tell you that he wasn't Peter, his deep voice surely was.
Ned and MJ’s smiles dropped and instantly became guarded, "No, no, it's okay. I'm a nice guy." The man, claiming to be Ned’s grandma, panicked. The man sighed as he removed his mask. Your mouth fell open as you stared at him in shared confusion.
He definitely was not your Peter.
"Who the hell are you?" You asked slowly, your eyes scanning the mysterious man. Once you two had met glances, it was clear that he was doing the same to you.
Unbeknownst to you, Peter’s heart felt like it was about to jump from his ribs from just the sight of you standing in front of him.
You had looked exactly like how he had remembered you, making the skin under his suit sweat as the eyes he had dreamed to see again stared back at him. Your face was clear of any aging, younger, and more soft looking.
Peter couldn't help but remember the lazy days that you two had spent together, with you snuggled close to his chest.
He spent the nights admiring the way your brows arched whenever he said something silly; how your lips formed questions that had you two laughing for hours, turning into inside jokes.
It was weird to see you with your scrunched face. Your eyes glared at him as if he were an alien standing in front of you.
Your question jolted him out of his trance. "I’m Peter Parker." he spoke slowly and carefully, wanting to be clear that he was also as confused as everyone else in the room.
"That’s not possible," MJ replied sternly.
"I’m Spiderman, in my world, but then yesterday I was," Peter stumbled over his thoughts. Not knowing how to explain the events that had gotten him to this moment, For him, it was all just so confusing, it all felt like some sort of dream. "I was just here."
His gaze switched from MJ to you, his eyes glistening as he turned to look around the room in amazement. "String theory, multi-dimensional reality, and matter displacement," he muttered the words broad to you as he counted everything on his fingers. "All real?"
It would have been easy for you to mistake him for Peter if he hadn't had such a dramatically different appearance. He just had the same nerdy demeanor that you found strikingly similar to your best friend.
“This had to be because of the spell.” Ned Muttered to you and MJ, motioning to the ring around his finger.
“The spell? Like magic spell?” Peter questioned from his spot in the room.
"No, there's no spell." Ned quickly rejected it.
"No spell." MJ agreed.
"I don’t even know," you added, awkwardly glancing at the obvious portal that was still floating in mid-air.
"Magic's real here too?" The excitement was clear in his tone, which only confused you more.
The simple question made your friend bicker back and forth on whether to tell the complete stranger anything. "Prove it." MJ insisted, her gaze fixed on Peter.
"Prove what?" Peter asked.
"That you’re Peter Parker." MJ requested.
"You all stared as he patted his suit, almost as if to make it obvious to MJ that he didn't have any pockets. "I don't carry an ID with me, you know. It kinda defeats that whole anonymous superhero thing." In response to his sarcastic reply, MJ was quick to respond as well, picking up a bread roll from the table and chucking it at his chest.
The room fell into an awkward silence as it simply bounced from his chest and onto the floor, "Why’d you do that?"
"You don’t have the Peter tingle?" You quickly caught on, remembering the enhanced abilities Peter had as a result of his powers.
"I have the tingle thing, just not for bread." It wasn't enough to convince MJ as she loaded herself with another bread roll.
"Can you not throw the bread again?" Peter cringed, "You’re a deeply mistrusting person and I respect it." He reached his arm up, jumping to touch the ceiling, but he never returned as he dangled from the ground.
"Crawl around." MJ pointed out, shrugging off the fact that he was hanging from the ceiling with just his fingertips.
"Crawl around?" He repeated it in bewilderment, as he stared at MJ.
"Peter crawls," you inputted, recalling the number of times you had seen Peter indeed crawling against walls.
"This is plenty." Peter shook his head, shutting it down. MJ quickly rejected the two, having a back and forth before her arm pulled back and chucked another loaf of bread at his chest, the bread bouncing off of his chest as Peter sighed, staring at MJ in annoyance.
"Ned," Ned’s grandma called out. Her request being in Tagalog, the room fell into silence in respect of letting her speak.
"My Lola's asking if you could just get the cobweb there." Ned translated, gesturing to the corner of the room. Peter kindly agreed to her request, crawling across the ceiling and swiping at the corner.
"Thank you." the older woman spoke meaningfully once he landed with his feet back on the ground. He staggered a few inches away when he realized how close he had landed to you.
"We good?" He asked, mostly directed toward MJ.
"For now." MJ agreed.
"Can I take a wild guess and assume that your name is Y/N Stacy in this reality too?" Peter asked you, noting that you were drastically shorter than how tall he had remembered you to be, standing just above his chin. His face was flushed a pale pink as he looked down just to speak to you.
"Well, no, different last name, just L/N. How different am I from myself in your universe?" With the new information, taller Peter gave you a shy smile, staring at you with some sort of admiration. It was enough to make you nervous from where you stood.
"You’re taller and…a lot older." Taller Peter seemed to mumble without realizing it, your face showing slight offense that you weren’t as tall as the other you.
"Oh. Well, I’m turning twenty soon in June, if that helps."
"Great, it's just some random guy." A portal formed behind you. Appearing from the shadows was an older man as he stepped through the portal.
"Hello, uh, I hope it's okay. I just came through this—oh, it just closed."
"You’re Peter?" MJ pointed at the man.
"Yeah, Peter Parker." He agreed, introducing himself. As his eyes scanned over everything in the room, they stopped at the other Peter that stood across from him. Taller Peter slowly backed away from you and more into the center of the room.
"Wait, he's not your friend." An intense silence fell between the two before all hell broke loose, the men shooting webs at each other from across the room, both able to successfully dodge each other’s attacks.
Taller Peter shot another web that covered older Peter’s web-slinger, practically disarming him.
It didn’t take long to realize where your Peter’s whereabouts had resided. The other Peter's had given into the idea that he, your Peter, was someplace that he normally was to clear his head and get away from it all. Luckily, MJ knew of his secret spot, leading everyone straight to him, your friends, and you the moment Peter was in view, engulfing him in a hug.
It was impossible to not overcome your emotions at just the sight of your friend, all beat up and bruised, squatting down the group and wrapping your arms around everyone at the moment, letting Peter find comfort as you all wept together.
Once you had heard about the casualties that had happened at Happy’s apartment, your heart broke instantly at the sight of May’s death amongst the list of innocent names that were unfortunately in the complex during the attack.
"I’m so sorry, Pete." You muttered, unable to fight back the tears as your chin rested above his head, taking a moment to mourn May’s death.
"Peter, there are some people here." MJ sniffed, pulling away from the hug as you stood up beside her, wiping away your fallen tears. Peter stumbles to his feet as he rushes in front of the group, shielding you from the two men who had fallen to ground level with caution.
"Sorry about May." Older Peter spoke.
"I've got some understanding of what it is you're—"
"No. Please don't tell me that you know what I'm going through." Your Peter interrupted, not wanting pity in his moment of mourning.
"She’s gone and it's all my fault. She died for nothing. So I'm going to do what I should have done in the first place." Peter concluded by reaching for the cube in your hands.
"Peter." Older Peter pleaded.
"You don't belong here, neither of you, so I'm sending you home. Those other guys are from your world, right? So you deal with it. I’m done. You have to go home now." You couldn't blame your friend for coming off harsh, the feeling of having lost everything after showing so much kindness towards them, but you also couldn't let him push the button, pulling the cube away from your grasp with a look of complete defeat staring back at you.
"My uncle Ben was killed. It was my fault." Older Peter spoke.
"I lost—I lost Y/N. They were my…they was my MJ." Taller Peter revealed that he was not able to look you in the eye as he struggled to hold back his tears. "I couldn't save them. I’m never going to be able to forgive myself for that, but I carried on, tried to keep going, tried to keep being the friendly neighborhood Spider-Man 'cause I know that’s what they would have wanted."
You felt odd, watching the man mourn your existence as you stood only a few feet away from him.
You just couldn't imagine his pain the moment that you two met eyes, the tears streaming down his cheek as he looked at you like his entire world was standing in front of him.
Something inside of you caved in to give taller Peter the closure that he visually needed from you.
"I stopped pulling my punches."
It was a bit hard for you to wrap your head around the fact that you—at least you from another universe—were that universe's MJ. It seemed like taller Peter seemed to have the same problem with your existence as you.
You two have been sneaking glances at each other since the exchange on the rooftop.
It was like he had been afraid to even stand too close to you, managing to keep a good amount of distance between you and him as the others spread about the science lab, actually aiding the newfound plan to cure villains so they could get back home and still be alive in their timelines.
The silly little issue was that you weren't much of a scientist.
If anything, you'd come closest to being a high school jock, usually having Peter and Ned tutor you for most of your classes to even get a passing grade.
It was pretty clear, at least to you, that you felt out of place as everyone else seemed to know exactly what they were supposed to do.
The best that you could really do was hope to stay out of everyone's way and look pretty.
"Dude, he’s looking at you again. Why don't you talk to him?" Ned whispered as he glanced at the taller Peter, who stood across the room from you.
Attempting to balance a pen on the top of your lip beside him, flinching to catch the pen as it fell from your lips and bounced off your chest.
Giving Ned a puzzled look before hovering the pen over your lips once more, "Maybe because I have no idea what to say to him and even if I did, it would seem like a bad idea, so I'm just better off staying out of his way."
Ned’s frantic typing came to a halt, spinning his desk chair to fully face you. "I think it would be a good idea, or at least a good deed for the both of you, to give him some type of closure and allow him to finally vent all of his pent-up emotions."
You sighed, as your head tilted down to steal a glance at the taller Peter. "I fucking hate it when you're right." were your departing words as you stood from your chair and awkwardly made your way over to his workstation.
As you passed by Older Peter, his head tilted slightly upward to glance at you. As you walked past, his eyes flickered from you to taller Peter, piecing two together, and he gave you a comforting smile, almost as a gesture of support.
"So," You greeted him as you sat across the table from taller Peter, your gaze scanning the jumble of items on his workstation, not bothering to try to understand what he was doing with any of it.
"There has to be at least one universe where Peter Parker isn’t some super-smart, white guy, right?" Your joke seemed to relieve just a bit of tension between you two, and taller Peter smiled at the compliment.
Maybe it was the chiseled jawline covered in a slight stubble or the fact that he was just really lengthy in paying extra attention to him in his tight suit, which all it did was show off the curve of his muscles, but you just couldn't help yourself but stare at him.
When he cleared his throat and chuckled nervously, it was only when you realized how oddly you were just openly gawking at him.
"If it makes you feel better, I'm not really much of a pro when it comes to all of this. Not the best, but also not the worst, you know?" You snort at his clear humbleness of talent.
You could tell he was nervous around you from his self-conscious response being drastically different from his usual sarcastic and open personality from earlier.
He wasn’t stupid. Peter could tell that you could easily see right through him, even in another universe had you been so similar to the Y/N that he once knew.
"Most of the time I just have no absolute idea what's going on," you confessed to the clear intelligence gap you felt in your friend group.
"I mean, sometimes I feel like they just keep me around as some type of bully repellent." You tried to cover your true feelings with a poorly told joke.
Yes, Peter was a literal superhuman with enhanced senses, but Ned and MJ were also very intelligent teenagers and the most talented kids that you’d thought would allow you to hang out with them.
Your friends always had things to bring to the table and came up with something that always helped Peter in the long run.
For you, it always felt like you were just some sort of side character that was just thrown into everything.
They always called that person for more brute force. It was just a kid they went to when they needed connections around school or the last resort when they needed someone for hard labor.
"Well, I don't know if this helps, but, just speaking from personal experience, you’ve definitely saved my ass a ton of times. I’ve realized that I wouldn't even be alive without you by my side, constantly reminding me all the time how right you always are." You were both laughing now, mostly at the fact that you were also a huge pain in the ass in a different universe as well. taller Peter laughed more at recalling his memories with you.
"Well, the other me sounds cool." You chide, "How did we—or I guess, you meet the other me?" taller Peter visibly struggled to look up at you. You had finally asked the question that he dreaded the most.
After exchanging a smile, Peter turned his head to glance over to MJ and Peter, sharing a moment together, his gaze softening at the adorable sight of the couple.
"In high school, you just never took any shit from anyone. It was like you were always there for everyone, even the types of people that didn't deserve it. I used to despise it when you would just completely drop everything just to come to clean up my messes." You shifted to the other side of the lab station, now standing next to him as you placed a hand on his arm in comfort Peter smiled as he accepted your kind gesture, even though your touch felt like sparks against his skin.
In his head, he didn't care how selfish he was for seeking you out. He knew it was wrong since you weren't really you, but he didn't care at the moment.
He didn't care about being right; he just wanted to be as close to you as possible, to soak up as much time as he could steal from you as possible.
"It was like you knew more about me than I did. You had put my safety before your own. Even though I was supposed to be the superhero, you were just stubborn like that." Recalling the moment your father passed away because of his dangerous actions.
He spent his final words making Peter promise to keep you out of it all; to stay away from you at all costs.
"I felt like shit knowing that you would give up so much just for me. Your parents knew that and they hated me for it." While the smile from his lips faded, you reached your hand out with a soothing touch of comfort.
As he reached out for your hand, taller Peter didn’t bother to hide the tremble in his fingers as they intertwined with yours. "I’m sorry, I know this is weird, but—"
His request was just about to slip from his lips, as if you could read his mind.
The kiss would have been something out of a fairytale if it weren't for the sudden halt that settled in the room. The first people your eyes fluttered towards were MJ and Peter, gawking at you two.
Clearing your throat and glancing around the room at the others.
“Sorry is it—was that weird? Cause he’s like you, but not you?

[ ❥ ] synopsis. You’ve been going behind the orgs back after finding out Homelanders extreme ways, but soon enough you realize why Homelander doesn't have many living enemies.
author's note. for my totally dead superhero bf <3
[ ❥ ] pairing. black noir x reader
[ ❥ ] word count. 1.3k
[ ❥ ] genre and warnings. male reader, hurt fic, literally just angst, coping with the final season
You join The Seven, taking after many young people your age born with superhuman abilities.
Coming from a less wealthy family with an even more depressing past, the moment you moved to the same city as The Seven, it was like a calling was made for your destiny.
The powers that you had once seen as a curse were now being popularized all over the country as a beacon of hope, all thanks to the right marketing and your kick ass public team that gained you numbers.
Not only because you were extremely good looking and the youngest on the team, but also because you were a diversity hire, being the only and first gay male in the entire Seven.
You loved the stardom and the spotlight that becoming a superhero entailed, basking in the light as much as you could. You were honestly one of the very few on the team that actually cared about being "morally correct". Another thing that you sort of didn't really mind was being partnered up with Black Noir.
After noticing how high your ratings were with any other one of your male team members, you were stuck between choosing The Deep or Noir.
You forbade yourself from ever being in a room alone with the fish fucker after hearing rumors that he fucked doplhines from ATrain.
Deciding that Noir was as normal as you could possibly get, your partnership would last you a nice and stable relationship for many years to come.
Stable enough for you two to even be more attached when it came to your personal lives, and by personally, it just meant that you two would be attached at the hip.
The dynamic was seen as adorable; the tall and stoic superhero and his bubbling, clumsy sidekick duo was enough to never stop The Seven from being shown in a better light.
You two were always on cleanup duty for anything that went back from within the walls of PR, milking the "dark and mystery boyfriend who's an asshole to everyone else but his adorable boyfriend" trope all over the channels of the news and the media would eat it up every time you two stepped foot on camera.
Of course, behind the media, Noir and you really did manage to fall for each other.
Noir would be pretty open about his attraction towards you, showing no shame when it came to his possessiveness. Which was why his annoyance towards Starlight wasn't hidden the moment PR kicked Deep and made you her back-up partner until they could find a replacement.
You were pretty okay with Starlight during the first meetings that you two had together.
You would always have to apologize for Noir’s harsh behavior towards her, claiming that "he’s just not a people person," with a nervous smile as his arms draped around your waist and yanked you away from her as far as he could possibly get you, like a dog not wanting to share its new toy.
But when he found out about his superpowers not being a "gift from God," Vought made bullshit stories just to cover up the fact that they were creating super-juiced babies in their labs. Noir seemed to cling onto you for comfort. The moment that the news dropped, he rushed to your room in the tower and cried in your arms for hours until you could calm him down.
God forbid the moment Noir found out about Starlight's involvement with Butcher—or at least her involvement with Hughie, unaware that you really were also behind the scenes helping Starlight keep her secret relationship on the downlow.
You were a double spy on the inside after finding out about Homelander’s more violent tendencies to be seen as a hero. It hurt to have to go against your boyfriend and his morals.
You loved Noir just fucking hated everything negative that The Seven was built on no longer wanting the blood to be on your hands.
Which was why you had to be faced with the difficult choice of saving Starlight when he had his hands around her throat, choking the life from her.
Instead of Queen Maeve, you were the one to intervene, stepping in the middle of the fight and trying to calm down Noir. It seemed like he had configured you to choose the side that wasn't his and thought you out to be a traitor.
The fight escalated to the point where you had no choice but to pull out the big guns and yank back his mask, stuffing an almond joy down his throat with tears in your eyes as you watched him struggle on the ground before running away with Starlight.
It was safe to say that you two have had some hard feelings, the trouble in paradise leading to you removing your chip and fully going undercover to fight on Butcher's side of the silent war happening. You were the advantage they had.
With your superhuman abilities being on their side and knowing The Seven like the back of your hand, you were willing to give anything to help the underground group with their battle, knowing that on the surface they were fighting against the corrupt organization that tied you down once and for all.
While you were off being buddies with the enemies, Homelander was hatching his own plan, intending to eliminate anyone who dared to stand in his way.
The moment that he found out about your territory's response, he broke up with Noir, removing your chip, and voluntarily leaving The Seven.
He felt betrayed and was less than happy. He wanted to make you hurt and wanted to see you crumple for even wasting his time with ideas so silly and pathetic. Homelander couldn't even believe someone as powerful as you could even think to sympathize with normal humans so much.
Homerlander wanted you fucking dead.
But you weren’t there and Noir was sadly the only thing he knew to be close to you. After finding out about Soldier Boy, it was all just too many emotions and voices spinning in his head. Homerland did really see Noir as a friend, which was why he was so hurt when he drove his fist directly into the pit of his stomach and yanked out his intestines with his fingers.
When the news showed about Noir’s death, you just couldn't find words to describe the pit feeling in your stomach.
Seeing his picture up there and how Vought was already planning a funeral for his death, you instantly knew it was another bullshit coverup for one of the Homelander's explosive temper tantrums.
You were devastated, a shell of the hero that you once were. You once had a bubbling and always joking personality that declined to the point where even Butcher was starting to show concern for you.
Hughie tries to actively cheer you up. Hughie keeps his distance, partly feeling at fault for Noir’s death. He’s quiet around you like the words "I’m sorry for your loss" are trapped in his throat, refusing to leave his mouth.
"Y/n?" Frenchie mutters, his accent thick as he tries to shake your shoulder out to break you from the silent trance. Butcher snatches the TV remote and switches it to another channel before cursing under his breath that the program just switched to another news station, mourning the loss of Noir.
"For fuck's sake, just let the kid grieve." Butcher grumbled as he looked over at your frozen state. His eyes were glued to the screen despite being turned off. All you could see was your reflection staring back at you. You felt so confused. Your hands shook, your jaw clenched.
When you start crying, you don’t even realize it. It takes you a minute to fully realize that you are full on sobbing as Kimko slowly engulfs you in a hug, her head resting on your shoulder in comfort as you dunk your head and release all your emotions that all just snaps like a high tension rubber band.
From that moment forward, you were going to fucking kill Homelander.
Jake Lockley with a boyfriend who actually speaks Spanish? We got it.
SMUT/NSFW/+18 ok?????
Of course, it all started with Marc. You two started dating and he told the boys all about you to Steven and even Khonshu. Less so for Jake, then, Marc suggested he should find out on his own. Kidding. HE WAS KIDDING!
He wanted you to take him by surprise, and you really did. By the morning you woke up a little earlier than usual and saw your dear Moon Knight returning from a long morning at work, so you ran to him and hugged him, seeing that he looked hurt. Jake, in his position, panicked, but took advantage of the situation, taking off his suit and asking for a little time to shower, in a nutshell, so he wouldn't suspect it wasn't Marc. He really tried to force an American accent, which didn't help.
Everything was going well, until he pulled you into the bed after getting dressed, forgetting the worry of having a disguise he groaned during the kiss;
"Sí, mi hermoso, please.. más" (yes, my pretty boy, please.. more)
"Oh, querida, ¿por qué quieres que continúe, Jake?" (Oh my dear, why do you want me to go ahead, Jake?)
Your use of his name took him by surprise, how did you know? For now, he was like the boys' dirty secret, he stopped you on a shelf, looking at you curiously.
"Really? You gonna stop now?"
"..No, not even for a second!"
He kept taking you until he felt like he needed more, asked for your consent and then took care of your arrangements, as much as you didn't like the condom and the lube, you deserved a good first time with him.
And it would, he gave you all kinds of affection, delighted with the way you screamed his name. He specifically asked for Spanish names, just for a test.
"Papi" (daddy) and "perra" (whore) were the most used of the night, as much as he preferred to take it easy at first, he ended up letting go.
And God, may he guide you, he will say what he wants without the need to use English as a first option, even his moans are lighter for that.
His hands circling your body and the movements faster until you come with him finally giving up.
"La mejor perra que ha comido" (The best bitch I've ever eaten).
Waking up the next morning, Marc wasn't happy with the result, but he doesn't really care either. Steven, by other way, spent the day asking what 'tu novio es caliente' (your boyfriend is hot) meant and why Jake kept saying it with a teasing smile.
Eddie Munson with a male reader that has scary dog privileges, like he is tall, strong and looks scary, but when in private he's just a cute little puppy for Eddie

"Sweetheart, you want anything?" Eddie asked as he parked his van in the gas station lot. as soon as he could let go of the wheel, he'd placed his hand on your thigh, giving a light squeeze.
You shook your head, smiling slightly. "It's okay, I'll come inside with you. I need to use the washroom anyways."
He nodded before unbuckling his seatbelt and did one last check for the things he needed before you two left the car. As Eddie was busy checking the glovebox for his wallet, you took the chance to survey the parking lot for other cars and spotted a few high schoolers loitering in the far corner of the lot.
"Alright, let's go!" Eddie chirped and quickly hopped out of the van, making his way to the front of the car to meet you halfway.
As you got out of the vehicle, you laid piercing eyes on the jocks, who had been staring at you two ever since you arrived. You recognized one of them as Jason, who you knew from the multiple incidents of them beating down on Eddie. Your mouth set into a straight line as you took one last look around before following Eddie inside the store.
You tensed up when the jocks started to make their way towards the store. Almost immediately, you went into defense mode, puffing out your chest and standing closer to Eddie. Several scenarios ran through your head, most of which involved you not leaving your boyfriend's side the entire duration of your time inside the store.
Eddie noticed your fidgeting beside him as he walked through the aisles. He wasted no time in grabbing your hand and pulling you close, his eyebrows twisted up in concern. He could see right through your tough façade from a mile away. "You okay? What's wrong?"
"Jason and his lackeys. Headed this way." You spoke in a low voice, your breath tickled Eddie's neck.
He took a subtle glance out the glass panes before turning to you, eyes wrinkled in humour. "Look at me. I'm fine, okay? They're just some dudes in letterman jackets trying to buy stuff from the store. I. Will. Be. Alright."
Eddie took the chance to squeeze your hand in reassurance, your hands dangling low and out of sight. "Now, go. I don't want you pissing in my car!"
He laughed, pushing you towards the back of the store. You reluctantly let go of his hand, grumbling the entire way to the restrooms. When your boyfriend was finally out of sight, you rushed off to relieve yourself as swiftly as you could to get back to him.
Eddie continued to peruse the aisles, plucking any food item he thought you'd like off of the shelf. They were playing Metallica on the radio, and he hummed along to the song as he shopped. Unbeknownst to him, Jason had his eyes set on his target, his friend trickling into the store behind him and making their way down the aisles.
Eddie was crouched at the end of the aisle, choosing between two different snacks when he felt a presence close by. Looking up, he found two pairs of sneakers staring back at him. He froze for a few seconds before standing up to face the strangers. Eddie knew immediately it was Jason and found himself regretting sending you away so early.
"Gentleman, anything I can help you with?" He gave a nervous smile, attempting to shrug off the anxious feeling creeping up the back of his neck.
The boys said nothing, only glancing at each other before looking back at Eddie with sinister smiles. "I heard you were stalking my girlfriend, freak. That true?"
He refused to answer, but the fear in his eyes gave him away. Eddie watched, terror striking through his limbs. Despite his odd outbursts and silly demeanor, he had always just been vulnerable underneath. Jason raised his fist and Eddie squeezed his eyes shut, bracing for impact.
It never came.
Eddie waited for one beat. Two beats. When he still hadn't felt a fist contact his cheek, he slowly opened his eyes and found the two boys had stepped back, eyes still glaring. But not at him, he found, but beside him.
You had arrived just in time. After drying your hands off from the bathroom, you made your way back into the store when you saw the bullies stepping menacingly toward Eddie. Blood roared in your ears and you felt your hands form into heavy fists, hurriedly moving to his rescue.
"You need to leave. Now." You snarled, stepping in front of your boyfriend. You could feel Eddie trembling slightly behind you, and it only added fuel to your fury. Now that you were facing them, you couldn't help but smirk at how you towered over them.
You let your eyes flicker behind them before your gaze darkened again, and you took a menacing stride towards the high schoolers. "The girl at the register can see you and she's already got the phone to her ear to call the cops. Unless you want to start something I know damn well you can't finish, I suggest you leave quietly. Unless you'd rather take this outside?"
Jason stared right back, attempting to puff his chest and intimidate you. You moved closer, practically looking down at him now. Jason broke eye contact first, visibly gulped, and stepped back into his friend. "Yeah whatever, man. Stay away from my girl, got it freak?"
The jock attempted to menacingly step towards Eddie, hand up and finger pointing but was quickly blocked by your chest.
"Touch him and you'll lose that hand, Carver." With that, Jason quickly backed away, nudging his friend to follow.
You watched as they scurried out of the store and back to their car, the girl at the register giving you a reassuring nod. Eddie let out a breath of relief behind you, reminding you that he was still there. You took the chance to look back at him, eyes slowly softening at how his hands slightly shook.
Without hesitating, you took his hand in yours and dragged him back to the van, Eddie dropping his snacks along the way. As soon as you got Eddie into the front seat and closed the door behind you when you got into yours, you let out a heavy sigh.
Eddie waited a few moments before turning to you, a smile slowly creeping onto his face. He took his hand and placed it onto your bicep, squeezing the tight muscle. "You okay?"
You met his gaze, allowing your tough façade to fade and instead be replaced by a small frown. Your head fell towards him, forehead resting on his shoulder.
"No. I'm never doing that ever again, Eddie. That shit was terrifying." You pouted.
Eddie chuckled lightly, bringing his hand up to rest on the back of your neck. "Still, 'm glad you're here to protect me. My knight in shining armour."
You smothered your face into Eddie's chest to muffle your laughter. "I think I'm very far from a knight."
Your boyfriend's fingers scratched at your scalp, tugging slightly at the hair to force you to face him. Eddie grinned down at you. Gone was the fear that had previously been flooding through both your veins.
"Right, right, sorry. No shining knight. More like a puppy hidden in a grizzly bear's body," Eddie snickered, and your face grew bright tomato red.
You couldn't fight down the laugh that bubbled in your chest, instead burying your face further into his chest.

The Proud Family: dark skinned men, light skinned women. dijonay, the only dark skinned girl, is portrayed as "ghetto" and "rachet" alongside her entire family. and suga mama, who can be argued is dark skinned, is portrayed as mean, cruel, and abusive. additionally, trudy, the mother, comes from an entire family of dark skinned people. yet she herself is portrayed as very much light skinned.
trudy proud's family (left) vs trudy proud (right).
The Hate U Give: the dark skinned main character starr on the cover of the book (left), vs. in the movie, where she is played by amandla stenberg (right); a light skinned biracial actor.
nina simone (singer, left) vs zoe saldana (actress, right), who played her in the 2016 biopic "nina".
stagecoach mary (right) vs zazi beetz (left), who played her in "the harder they fall".
ororo munroe (storm, center) vs the actresses that played her in the x-men movies (alexandra shipp - left, halle berry - right). and alexandra shipp, herself, is also colorist.
monster high: clawdeen wolf (right), vs. the actress that plays her in the upcoming monster high live action movie (miia harris, left). it also appears that they artificially darkened the actress' skin for the role.
strawberry shortcake franchise: orange blossom, who was lightened between her 2003 design (left) and 2009 design (right).
The problem is there. You see it. This whole "we're all black at the end of the day" bullshit is the exact mindset hollywood uses to justify the erasure of dark skinned women. None of this will EVER be okay. And the fact that y'all consistently find the same goddamn excuses to justify shit like this is exactly why dark skinned people don't fucking trust y'all.

Y/N sat in his room, doing a algebra test that he had to turn in next friday, he remembered last night, it was all a mess.
He heard his phone ringing, running downstairs, answering it, "Hello, this is the L/N phone, who is this?" Y/N asked, confused, who'd be calling this hour?
"Hi, Y/N!" a voice said, Y/N felt his heart jump, a smile crawling onto his lips, "Hey, Munson!" he said back, he was happy to hear Eddie's voice, he didn't understand why.
"Are you busy this evening?" Eddie asked across the phone, "No, not at all, my parents are out of town, so i'm not that busy!" Y/N said, excited, "Okay! Well uh, wanna uh go out today?" Eddie said, Y/N smiled.
"Like a date?" he asked, "Uhm- i mean- sure?" Eddie replied, "Okay, i'll pick you up at around 7-8." Y/N said, "Wait- your picking me up?" Eddie said, "Yup, see you then Munson." Y/N said, hanging up, jumping up and down in excitement.
Y/N walked back up to his room, sitting back in his chair, trying to continue the algebra test, failing to do so, the only thing running threw his head was the event of last night, Steves words last night & the date later today.
Y/N bit his pencil, smiling, opening his notebook, starting on three doodles, his face blushing pink, nothing but the three men spinning in his head.
Y/N stood in his bathroom, deciding what cologne he should use, he noticed the f/s cologne that his aunt got him for his birthday, standing on the sink counter, he grabbed it, spraying it on him with a decent amount.
He decided to wear a Iron Maiden shirt, along with a jeans jacket, he threw on some black jeans, grabbing his car keys, walking to his car.
He arrived to the adress that Eddie gave him, sitting in his car, waiting, listening to the radio music, seeing Eddie leave the trailer, Y/N felt himself staring, lost in his thoughts.
Eddie was wearing a Metallica shirt, along with his jeans vest, some jeans with chains hanging on the side, his bandana in his pocket.
Y/N got out the car, smiling, "Hey, Eddie! You- look very- handsome!" Y/N said, Eddie grinned, chuckling, "Thank you, you don't look to bad yourself." Eddie said, smirking.
Eddie got into the car, Y/N sitting in the drivings seat, "So, uh, where do we go?" Y/N asked, Eddie looked at him, "We could go to the arcade?" Eddie asked, Y/N smiled, nodding, "Sounds good!" Y/N said, driving out from the neighbourhood.
Y/N pulled up to the arcade, walking inside with him, "Look! They got new D&D books!" Eddie said, grabbing on of the books, looking at them, Y/N giggled, "Yup, you like them, Ed?" Y/N asked, Eddie nodded, "Wish i had money for it though-" he said.
Y/N grabbed the book, taking out his wallet, walking to the counter, "Good day, Keith, i'd like to purchase this book." Y/N said, smiling, "Sure thing, L/N, didn't know you played D&D again." Keith said, giving him the book after registing it for him so it's paid, Y/N smiled, "My little siblings, you know?" Y/N said, Keith nodded, "Alright."
Y/N walked over to Eddie, giving him the book, Eddie stared at him, smiling brightly like a puppy, "No way you just bough this!?" Eddie said, hugging Y/N, Y/N smiled back, walking out the arcade with him.
"I have to be a gentleman, don't i?" He said, Eddie nodded, hugging Y/N still, holding the book proudly, "This is gonna make my campaigns so much better!" He said, Y/N nodded.
Eddie & Y/N sat in the car, Eddie just talking about how happy he is & thankful, Y/N was smiling brightly, driving the car, enjoying hearing Eddie this happy.
"Wait- where are we going?" Eddie asked, "Oh shit- i forgot- we're going to my house, my house is really close and it's getting late, hope you don't mind-" Y/N said, Eddie nodded, "Alright, i don't mind honestly." Eddie said, smiling,
They pulled up to Y/N's house, getting out the car, "Woah- nice house-" Eddie said, Y/N smiled, "Thank you" he said back, unlocking the front door, taking off his jacket, Eddie took off his shoes, walking into the house.
Y/N walked to him, "You seeing anything?" Y/N asked, Eddie looked at him, smiling, "It's bigger than my trailer-" he said, giggling, Y/N smiled, "I suppose you like it." Y/N said, hanging up his keys.
"It's great!" Eddie said, seeing in the living room cabinet, Metallica & Iron maiden albums, running over to get them, Y/N raised an eyebrow, chuckling, "You found the music i see." Y/N hummed, looking at Eddie.
Eddie read the song names, excited, "You have the early ones too! I haven't managed to get enough money for them yet-" Eddie said, sighing, Y/N smiled, "We can listen to it if you want." Y/N said.
Eddie was smiling like a puppy, nodding, "Yes, please!" he said, Y/N got the stereo, putting in the music disc for Fuel by Metallica, turning the volume up.
Eddie started pretending to play a guitar, Y/N giggled, smiling, "Munson, can you dance to these songs?" Y/N asked, Eddie grinned brightly, "Sure i can, L/N." he said, Y/N reached his hand out, Eddie grabbed it, pulling each other closer, starting to dance to the beat.
Y/N enjoyed this, he loved this even, he felt so happy, dancing with Eddie, "Your really cute-" Y/N said, Eddie chuckled, smiling, "Your cute as well, L/N." Eddie said, humming, Y/N pulled him closer, their faces almost touching.
Y/N closed his eyes, kissing Eddie, holding his hand, Eddie stared at him, smiling, kissing back, holding each others hands, Y/N put his arms around Eddie, breath heavy.
Y/N pulled away, looking at Eddie, Eddie looked back, still smiling, "Something wrong, big boy?" Eddie said, grinning, Y/N stared at him, face flushing red, "I'm- that was my first serious kiss- with a guy-" Y/N said.
Eddie hugged him, cupping his cheeks, "Your adorable, Y/N." Eddie said, kissing his cheek, Y/N smiled brightly, leaning into Eddies touch.

Y/N sat in his room, getting ready to go to a party, Steve had invited him to go, Y/N trying to figure out what to wear, it was a halloween party, so he had to dress up somehow.
Y/N got an idea, he thought about dressing up as a devil, classic, he knows that, he grabbed some old horns he never used, putting them on his desk.
He grabbed some paint, re-painting them, giving them a shade of black with red as blood stains, he quickly picked out some clothes, putting on them.
The house was blasting music, people drinking everywhere, Y/N saw Steve, he quickly ran up to him, waving, "Hey, Steve!" Y/N said, smiling, Steve looked at him, smiling back, "I'm glad you could make it!" he said.
Y/N nodded, "I love your outfit!" Steve said, "Oh! Thanks!" Y/N said, smiling, Y/N went over to go get a drink, looking outside, seeing Billy Hargrove.
The people was crowding around Billy, watching him drink lots of shots, Y/N felt himself staring at him, admiring the way his abs looked.
The party had been going on for a few hours, people were drunk, some were probably having sex somewhere, Y/N honestly didn't care all that much, he had fun with Steve.
Y/N saw Tommy Hagan along with another dude coming up to them, followed with Billy Hargrove, Y/N tapped on Steve's shoulder, "Steve, you got company i think-" Y/N said, Steve raised an eyebrow.
"What do you want?" Steve asked, confused, "Who's your little boyfriend next to you?" Tommy laughed out, "Steve's not my boyfriend, Hagan, and i'm not his, now scram." Y/N said.
Billy pushes Tommy aside, staring at Y/N & Steve, "Is this king Steve?." Billy asked, staring at Tommy, then at Steve, "Yup, but more like homo king." Tommy said laughing.
Billy stared at Y/N, "What are you staring at?" Y/N asked, annoyed, not liking Billy's stare, Billy just stood still, just staring at Y/N, Y/N started getting slightly uncomfortable.
Billy then walked away, "BILLY- WAIT UP-" Tommy said, running after, "Leave me alone, need to piss." Billy said, disappearing in the crowd.
Y/N was talking with Steve when a couple of dudes came running down the halls, spilling drinks over random people, Y/N & Steve both got drinks on their shirt, "Shit- Steve, are you okay??" Y/N asked, Steve wiped away some from his eye, "Yeah, we should look for bathrooms to get this shit off, meet me here later, okay?" Steve said, Y/N nodded, the two walking to find bathrooms.
Y/N opened the door to a bathroom, seeing Billy sitting in the tub, smoking a cigarette, "Oh god- turn that shit out-" Y/N said, closing the door, turning on the water, trying to wash the drink off.
"Your the one who came in here." Billy answered, annoyed, Y/N sighed, "It's not like i wanted to be in the same room as you." Y/N said, Billy glared at him, obviously feeling offended.
Billy stood up, walking over to Y/N, "Who the hell do you think you are?" Billy said, staring at Y/N, Y/N stared back, not wanting to deal with this.
"I'm a person, any other questions, asshole?" Y/N spat out, Billy grabbed him by the shirt, having him pinned against a wall, Y/N groaned, trying to push him off.
Y/N hated the smell that was reeking off of Billy, cigarettes along with alcohol & some weird funky smelling deodorant.
"You seem to like to back talk, don't you, homo?" Billy said, Y/N stared at him, thinking of a way to get out of this situation, he quickly tugged on Billy's shirt, pulling him in for a kiss.
Y/N didn't like the kiss, he just thought this was the only way to get him off of him, thinking he'd be disgusted and leave the room, oh boy was Y/N wrong, Billy kissed back to Y/N's surprise, plan failed miserably.
Y/N didn't know what to do in this moment, Billy ended the kiss, letting the grip go, "I'll see you tomorrow, freak." he said, walking out the bathroom door, Y/N stood there, still shocked, going back to washing his shirt.
Y/N walked out to meet Steve, smiling as he saw Steve waiting, "Sorry it took awhile, it was hard to wash the drink out" Y/N said, Steve nodded, "Yeah, it makes sense, was hard for me too" Steve said, "Do you need me to drive you home?" Steve asked.
Y/N nodded, smiling, "yeah! that'd be great!" he said, Steve nodded, the two walked out, talking, "Here's my car in all her glory!" Steve said, smiling, Y/N chuckled, nodding, "Nice car." Y/N said.
Steve pulled up to Y/N's house, opening the door for Y/N, "I hope we can hang out more often, L/N!" Steve said, Y/N smiled, "Yeah, that'd be great, Harrington!" Y/N answered, "Goodnight, Harrington." "Goodnight, L/N" Steve said, leaving the parking lot, Y/N stood there, watching him leave.

Winter break was over, school beginning, students pulling up at the parking lot in front of Hawkins High & Hawkins Middle School.
Y/N sat on the hood of his car, looking around, seeing familiar faces, new cars, Y/N didn't usually like the other students, but he did always find a interest in The Freak Munson along with hawkin highs ex-king.
Y/N spotted a blue Camaro pull up to the school, Everyone's eyes staring at the man walking out the car, it was not a familiar face to anyone.
The man was smoking a cigarette, he was wearing a jeans jacket, along with a white blouse, and some jeans pants, he had dirty blonde curly hair, and blue eyes.
Every girl seemed to be under a spell, gawking at the sight of him, Y/N couldn't understand why some girls found only a certain group of men attractive, personally, Y/N liked men who were usually outcasts, different.
Then the bell rang, school starting, people started heading inside, Y/N also beginning to walk to the school, when he entered the school halls, he noticed Eddie Munson walking inside, Y/N never understood why he was seen as a freak.
Y/N suddenly felt himself walking towards Eddie, holding his bag, "Hey, Eddie Munson, right?" Y/N asked, Eddie raised an eyebrow, "Yeah! I'm Eddie Munson." Eddie said, confused, "I like your style!" Y/N said, not really knowing what to say.
Eddie smiled politely, "Thank you, why are you so nice to me? Need me to hook you up with pills?" he asked, grinning, Y/N was startled, "No, no! Nothing like that- i just see how you usually get picked on-" Y/N started rambling, Eddie cutting him off.
"So you felt bad for me?" he said, continuing to walk, Y/N following him closely, "No! I just wanted to get to know you!" Y/N said, Eddie smiled again, "Your not like the others, are you?" He asked, Y/N nodded, "I'm- also a outcast."
Eddie looked at him, "Well, you should then come hang out with me, if your a outcast, i sit by the hellfire club table, i'm the leader." He said proudly, Y/N nodded, "You know how to play D&D?" He asked, "Yes! I used to play it a lot growing up but i stopped playing it cause my friends who used to play it with me, left." He answered Eddie.
Eddie smiled brightly, "That's great! not- that your friends left- but that you know how to play D&D!" Eddie said, Y/N smiled, "But, what's your name?" Eddie asked, "Oh right! Y/N L/N!" Y/N said, "Uh, i have algebra soon, it was nice chatting with you, Eddie!" Y/N said, Eddie nodded, "Alright, see you around, L/N." Eddie said, Y/N started walking to his locker, smiling brightly,
Y/N sat in his classroom, listening to the teacher talk, and then the door opened to the classroom, then there he was, the new kid, "Oh! Class, this is your new classmate! He recently moved here from California!" the teacher said, everyone's eyes looking at him.
The man stared around, clearing his throat, "Billy, Billy Hargrove, I'm the new king around here, got it?" Billy said, grinning, everyone seemed obsessed with him, the girls drooling over him, the boys wanted to be him.
The lesson began again as Billy sat in a seat.
Class ended, everyone walking out the classroom in a hurry, can't blame them, Y/N knew that class was boring, lunch about to start, Y/N felt a ball of excitement building up, he went to his locker to put his books inside.
"HEY, HOMO." Y/N heard behind him, seeing Tommy hagan walk towards him, "What do you want, Hagan?" Y/N asked, Y/N always hated Tommy, his always been an asshole, plus he had always made fun of Y/N for liking his ex-friend Steve.
Tommy pushed him against the locker, Y/N didn't understand, did Tommy have a reason? well, Tommy never did, only that he was a total dick all the time, "C'mon! Defend yourself, Homo!" Tommy said in a mocking tone.
"No, your not worth my time, Hagan." Y/N said, trying to move away, Tommy gripping him by the shirt collar, "It's time you learn to not talk back to me." Tommy spat out, Y/N groaned, "Your literally just like any weak little pathetic boy in this school." That was it that made Tommy hit him in the face.
Y/N was about to accept his faith, when something or someone stopped him, "Leave him alone, Tommy, we don't want your girlfriend knowing that your fucking her best friend, would we now?" a familiar voice said, Y/N remembered that voice, it was Steve Harrington, the man who he had been obsessed with for decades, the man he'd thought never even would know he existed.
Tommy quickly ran away, Y/N had honestly never seen Tommy get stopped before like that, "Hey are you okay? I'm sorry about, Tommy." Y/N looked up, seeing Steve, Y/N smiled, "Uh- yeah, i'm fine, i'm used to him being an asshole-" Y/N said, smiling, Steve nodded, "I'm Steve Harrington, you probably know me from last year after being the asshole king." Steve said.
"Everyone knows who King Stev- Steve Harrington is!" Y/N said, Steve smiled, "And you are i suppose, L/N?" Steve said, Y/N nodded, "Tommy used to always talk about this creep named L/N, i never knew who he was, but, you don't seem like a creep" Steve said, Y/N nodded, "I'm usually told i'm a creep by others." Y/N said, Steve felt horrible, he felt pity for him.
"Well, L/N, i hope maybe i see you around?" Steve said, Y/N nodded, "Yeah!" he answered, Steve waved goodbye, walking away, Y/N felt happy, excited, this day couldn't get much better.
Y/N finished putting his stuff in the locker, starting to head to the cafeteria, he remembered what Eddie said, that he sits by the hellfire club, Y/N didn't quiet understand what he meant by that, until he entered the cafeteria.
He saw Eddie sat by a table in the cafeteria, along with him sat other people, probably the other members of hellfire, Y/N went to grab his food, heading over to the table, "Oh, You did come!" Eddie said, smiling, Y/N nodded.
"Please, take a seat!" Eddie said, Y/N sat down beside some other members of the club, "This is the boy i was talking about!" Eddie explained to his friends, "So this is L/N?" a boy said.
The boy had brown curly short hair, blue eyes, he wasn't short or tall, average size of 5'8, "Uhm, yeah! I'm L/N! Y/N L/N!" Y/N said awkwardly.
Lunch felt faster then usual, Y/N left the cafeteria talking with Eddie & his other friends, they had been telling Y/N about the campaigns, "You should come by some day and join us!" Eddie said, Y/N nodded, "I think i will!".

Eddie sat down at the end of the table, taking out the sandwich he brought for lunch. He smiled to himself as he noticed the little note you'd tucked into the bag for him. It only read 'I love you, baby' but it was enough for him to be smiling like an idiot at it.
"looks like someone got a secret admirer." Dustin laughed.
Eddie looked up from the note, sending the boy a slight glare. "Secret to you, maybe, but I happen to know exactly who he is."
"I bet it was one of those girls that were staring at you at the hideout the other night." Mike took a bite of his food. "They seemed really interested in you."
"The only girls I've ever seen interested in you." Lucas added.
Eddie shook his head. "No, he couldn't make it that night."
"Oh! There was that one guy you talked to after hellfire last week!" Mike spoke, but Eddie shook his head. "No, that was just a deal."
The table seemed frozen, waiting for something. Dustin being the first to speak. "So?"
"so what?"
"Who is it?"
He laughed. Surely they've noticed the wedding ring, right? He wasn't intentionally keeping you a secret from them, they've just been oblivious to the thought of Eddie really being married.
"my husband? Have you idiots seriously never noticed the wedding ring?"
The table was practically in tears from laughing so hard, but quickly settled down when they noticed the glare Eddie wore.
"Eddie? married? Bullshit!" Dustin laughed out.
He shook his head at his feet. "I'll get him to come to hellfire this Friday. See who's laughing then. Prettiest guy you'll ever lay your eyes on."
Mike and Dustin made an ooh noise. "Seems like Eddie's in love with his secret admirer."
