Røse

A soul – dearer to me than my own soul – gave shade to me (protecting me) from the sun. It gave shade to me, how strange, a sun shading (protecting) me from the sun.

Abu Darda reported: The Prophet ﷺ said,

“The father is the middle of the gates of Paradise. If you wish, you can squander this gate or keep to it.”

رَّبِّ ارْحَمْهُمَا كَمَا رَبَّيَانِي صَغِيرًا

Rabbir hamhuma kama Rabbayani Sagheera

"My Lord, have mercy upon them as they brought me up [when I was] small."

May Allah ﷻ make us look after our parents and treat them with kindness.

“Lord, inspire me to be thankful for the blessings You have granted me and my parents, and to do good deeds that please You; admit me by Your grace into the ranks of Your righteous servants.”

Close friends will be enemies to one another on that Day, except the righteous.
