I’ve never felt better in my life - the planets are really aligning, my hard work is paying off, and I’m surrounded by so much love

A gentle reminder that if a guy (or girl) says “no one will treat you the way I did/love you how I loved you” it’s manipulative, controlling, selfish, and abusive! Not romantic or loving!!! I’ve been seeing so many of my friends go through this BS recently and I’m going to punch a wall. Some humans in this world are so disgusting.

I know for a fact that I’d be so happy and content with my life if I just lived with all my girlfriends instead of getting married. I hate that the only love we’ve been taught to recognize as meaningful or important is the love we receive from significant others. The most durable, loving, and carefree relationships I have ever had are with my best friends. And while I can still recognize that I am very much in love with someone, I also know that I do not need that person to be happy. I don’t need that person to survive. And it is so liberating to say that.
