This week at our mid-week service, 242, we will begin looking at the text of John chapter 20. In this chapter we read of the disciples reactions as they discover the empty tomb. Yes, we will be reading the Easter narrative. As we move through this account, it is sometimes sobering to ponder how we would react in the same situation. We would like to think that we would instantly "get it" and break out in praise. Given that the disciples had walked with Jesus and talked with Jesus and spent concerted time with the scriptures all of their lives and...still didn't fully understand the events unfolding before them, we could be excused if we too wrestled with the reality of a risen Savior.
