That last comment , surely just something off - hand , seemed to really pique Joseph’s interest.  “A neighborhood garage sale might actually be a really great idea ,”  he rubbed his hand against his chin thoughtfully .  “ Maybe set up in a flea market - esque way . We could do it in the church parking lot where we usually have bake sales .”

Robert perked a brow as he looked up at his neighbor. “How expectant of you,” he teased gruffly in that way of his where it was hard to tell if he was joking or not. After a short pause to let the man stew a bit, he nodded. “I can see what I can whip you up in the morning. I make a mean omelet.”

Dominic just stared with a pinched brow for a beat. “That was – oddly specific enough that I would say that’s exactly something you have done,” he pointed out before raising his hands. “Alright truce on the trash talk.” Did you see that? He made a pun. Oh no it was starting. “We just moved into the neighborhood, my name’s Dominic,” he greeted, extending his hand.
