I got old stuff, I got new stuff and They’re all perfectly good condition.

Nothing has ever made me more environmentally conscious- or just conscious in general of the way that we live as a society then working in a fast food restaurant .

I’ve always felt bad about littering and never actively done it but I’ve never noticed when other people did it but now it’s all I see.

It’s all I think about:

“I probably served that to someone and they’ve throw it out on the side of the road.”

I’ve always been conscious about food waste in my own home, saving leftovers or avoiding buying large amounts of groceries at once so nothing goes to waste.

I’ve only been working in fast food for a few days a week for maybe 6 months, i’ve been told to throw out more food and drinks and taking out so many rubbish bins full of food, than I’ve ever done in my entire 18 years of life.

I was stocking up cup trays and I had to grab a box of them from storage and all I could think of was:

“Wow- a box of cardboard full of cardboard.”

And sure it says it’s recyclable and it’s been recycled from pre-used paper or plastic but at the end of the day how much of that is actually getting recycled? and you can’t recycle food once it’s already been in the garbage.

I feel incredibly bad serving any customers because not only is everything I’m gonna give them aside from the food going either on the side of a road or to land fill, The food is incredibly bad for you?! we have regulars that come in for breakfast, lunch and dinner and I honestly pity them- if it’s the only thing that they can afford I feel bad for them in that respect but if they can afford other stuff and choose to eat fast food for every meal, I still feel like shit.

There is no upside to fast food other than convenience and the only thing that convenience brings is domestication.

It is scientifically proven that domesticated animals like sheep are dumber than their wild counterparts and that’s what’s happening to us, especially with all the AI being shoved down our throats. It’s not a coincidence the AI is suddenly blown up in popularity with big corporations.

Convenience is killing us and It’s killing this planet.

I will be quitting my job as soon as possible and finding alternative employment.

I don’t mean for this post to sound privileged because I know a lot of people can’t just leave their jobs, but for the people who do have a choice or just for the people who don’t think it’s that bad- please just have a look next time you clock into work.

no, I’m not saying that just because they have the same personality type that they’re gonna be exactly the same but I do see some similarities…

Yes, I’ve seen the shipping posts. This definitely totally has nothing to do with that whatsoever. And I definitely do not fuck with it at all that’s completely and utterly false.

But,

What interests me about this is, he has power right? He leads people and he gives orders- a lot nicer than Stratt and with more patience but he’s shown to get incredibly competitive and well bitchy right? And he kind of puts a barrier between others and Stratts bluntness, the comedic relief, the reassurance of “you’ll get used to it.”

He tries to comfort people who are obviously caught off guard or effected by Stratt’s attitude and actions.

What if they are both having a bad day though? What if they are both in a sour mood, something went wrong and they are in a funk- how would that possibly look?

Grace isn’t a saint, he can still have negative emotions and interactions with people and is willing to argue with people and so can Stratt but she just kind of tells people how it’s going to go and them complying will just be less embarrassing on their end.

I’d imagine they’d both have NASTY resting bitch faces.

If Stratt isn’t laughing, it’s okay she doesn’t do that,

If Grace isn’t laughing either, oh no you fucked up.

Idk if I was on that boat and I saw that they were both in a bad mood… I’d probably jump off tbh.

Grace would probably use the teacher argument and say he gets more cooperation and useful information from 12 year olds.

And Stratt would do the Miranda and hit you with the “That’s all.” and dismiss you like you’re just water in the vase ocean they are traveling in.

I need to see this scenario play out from other characters perspectives because that’s where all the comedy is.

Like if an ingredient to your favourite meal goes extinct, or your favourite item of clothing breaks but the methods to fixing it got forgotten thousands of years ago? Stuff like that?

I’d imagine that’s what grace feels like on Erid.

No not movie grace, because I’m sure anything he breaks they could fix. I’m talking about book grace.

He didn’t have any personal effects, like at all.

He had like one suit with his name on it, everything else he might have changed into or used or was the other crew members- including DuBois.

Like yeah sure he’s happy to be alive and still doing what he loves but I think it would be natural for him to miss small comforts, a specific shirt he liked, his favourite coffee brew, things you probably don’t appreciate and recognise as part of your everyday life until they are gone. Maybe he liked animals and was planning on getting one before everything happened?

Also what do you think happened to his apartment? Would the government have just got rid of his stuff and let his landlord rent it out again? Or would they have put some of his stuff in a museum? Or Would they have kept it as is and used the whole apartment as a memorial?

I just finished ep 50 and I’m having some feeling’s.

I’ve been a tma fan for like 5 years now but for some reason I’ve only recently listened to protocol, I started when it came out but just never finished the first episode- Now I’m hooked like a crack addict.

When the Archivist first showed up I was like “oh hell yeah!” Natural I thought it was Jon looking for a way to get his body back, and him and Martin home to their universe (I had a feeling it was alternate universe shit rather than a regular sequel)or at least out of the computer? Dropping hints to Sam who was the only one to take the statements seriously, to help them maybe?

Obviously that was simple wishful thinking and mr Jonny sims sir wouldn’t have done something that simple, I love it.

Always had a suspicion about Celia though, so glad I got one thing right. And after the Archivist started actually killing people I did a double take on my theory because even if Jon had lost the plot he still probably wouldn’t kill people, it’s not very practical.

The parallels between Jon and Sam though. Even Melanie can see those…

All this computer junk has me thinking about MAG 65 - binary, some dude supposedly programmed himself into the computer and this lady accidentally downloaded him onto her computer, she thought it was fake until he started talking nonsense about how he can’t feel anything but it hurts, asking for help and stuff like that. She forced quit the program but then he showed up on her tv that wasn’t connected and shit, haunted computer basically. But I wonder if the real Jon, Martin and Johan are actually trapped in the program if it would get to that point, Freddie already seems to have a mind of its own so maybe? ‘Chester’, ‘Norris’ and ‘Augustus’ seem to have enough consciousness to pick and choose relevant statements. (I love their names btw they are so cute!!)

So I wonder if there will ever be more Canon evidence that they are conscious maybe?

Also I want to talk bout that lady that traveled before the apocalypse, she gave me the same vibe as Celia tbh- not that she’s evil or anything but that maybe she knows more than she’s letting on, has some greater importance later something like that. Plus Some lines in MAG 200 now got me thinking…

When Jon was asking Martin to kill him he said, “Maybe we both die, probably. But maybe not. Maybe everything works out and we end up somewhere else.”

Naturally you’d think it was just a small thought of comfort before dying, but why did he say THAT SPECIFICALLY. If that lady actually showed up before the apocalypse, traveled to their world, he probably knew- sly bastard.

If that’s true bro… Melanie, Georgie and Basira would be so mad that Jon and Martin just entirely jumped ship, JUMPED UNIVERSES.

I know the rest of the fandom probably has all this figured out but I’m just getting my thoughts down, because to avoid spoilers I haven’t looked at anything so… IDK WHAT YALL KNOW OR DONT KNOW OKAY.

I’m re-listening to the Magnus archives now and the more that I listen the more things seem to jump out at me like there was one statement where John asked specifically about bones like a skeleton and that got me thinking about Sam‘s fear of skeletons.

Which is reasonable in the situation they were in, Arin put the fact it wasn't his victory over the fact that what Sora did on his behalf, saved Nya's life.

Well, her free life that is.

Arin clearly doesn't see it this way which is another reason why he isn't ready to be a ninja, he's selfish period. He's all about finding his parents but what did he think we going to happen when he found them, leaving the ninja and his training to be with his family again?

He hadn't thought ahead, only focusing on prioritising his goals which was likely holding him back from training with the ninja, knowing at least subconsciously he was going to dip as soon as he found his family.

The first chance he got to find his family, moral or not he bounced, leaving the people who took him in and his Best friend.

ARIN CHOSE THE FURRY WHO BODYSLAMMED HIM SO HARD INTO THE GROUND HE CALLED NYA AND LLOYD "MUM AND DAD" OVER THE NINJA HE IDOLISED SINCE CHILDHOOD.

He was not ready to be a ninja, he was selfish like Morro.
