Francisco Baltazar y dela cruz also known as Francisco Baltazar, was a well-known Filipino poet. Because of his influence on Filipino literature, he is regarded as one of the greatest Filipino literary laureates. His well-known epic Florante at Laura is regarded as his most important piece.
One of his work that I enjoyed is the Florante and Laura story, Florante and Laura is one of the most beautiful stories, I always read this story, it's entertaining especially and I can relate to it.
The plot centers on Florante and Princess Laura of Albania as they battle each other and fall in love amid the conflict between the Moros and the Christian Albanians.
