I hate how 3 pm is so close to 2 pm so there's an illusion that there's still time left in the day to do things but in reality 3 pm is also close to 4 pm and if it's close to 4 pm you might as well just wait till tomorrow. <- can't argue against this by the way.

It's time to kill the idea that we can only grow and heal when we're uncomfortable. You heal every time you have a good conversation with someone. You heal every time you laugh. You heal every time something makes you smile genuinely. You heal every time you have fun creating something - anything. You heal every time you get so absorbed in something fun that you forget your struggles for a while. There is, in fact, lots of healing and growth to be found INSIDE your comfort zone.

Today my therapist said “shame is doing something you don’t agree with and thinking that you are the problem and that something is wrong with you, whereas guilt is doing something you don’t agree with and thinking that the act itself is the problem and motivating yourself to do better next time” and as someone who is essentially more a vessel of shame than a girl I have been thinking about this nonstop
