You can see the darkness creep in, that thing that could tempt him to give Luke the fleece, to do the thing that would end Olympus, to make small human choices that could cost everything. It's all in his eyes.

Before I start simultaneously crawling up the walls and sobbing my eyes out over the new episode I do wanna say that Luke almost basically giving Annabeth a whole "oh so I am just THE WORST parent in the world !!???“ speech, was a scene that I did not expect yet however cannot say is unfitting considering their dynamic in the show. Like huh he really was co parenting that kid, he just went down the weird cult path after the divorce (to put it so incredibly nicely)
