Plus sized women do suffer a lot every single day. I fucking know that. You girls suffer a lot. Media is fucked up, I know that.

But, us, skinny girls, do too. I grew up with people thinking I had aids because I was too skinny. I was also bullied at school for having “sticks” instead of legs. Do you wanna know the comments people spit at us every single day?

“Watch out, the wind might blow you away.”

“You should put on some meat cause men like their women squishy.”

“Are you anorexic?”

“Fuck, you should put a hamburger down. You look like you are starving.”

Bottom line, in GENERAL SOCIETY, plus sized women ARE targeted more than the majority of people. You have to be BELOW a certain size to do certain jobs.

I am NOT saying that thinner girls don’t suffer hate. They do. But it is GLAMORIZED by the media.

@thats-chill-with-me ‘s original post about Kai liking big legs wasn’t supposed to turn into this battle to be politically correct. It was an innocent little HC that should’ve been taken as such. It was something fun that a lot of people do in the fandom for others to enjoy. There was no TRUTH in it and I believe that @ahswitchy ‘s original response was unnecessary. But my opinion doesn’t really matter since I’m not really involved.

I didn’t see no one attacking anyone until dickhead anons come jumping in and being pathetic.

I know I run a plus size reader blog and it is very important to me but I think everyone is overlooking the fact that if we all banded together as beautiful woman (which we all are) there would be no argument to be had in the first place. The very bottom line is that the media and society in general is cruel to women of all body types, no matter what we do, so instead of fighting, let’s all just support eachother and understand that we are all amazing and should have eachothers backs instead of trying to one up one another with our pain.

This society is made to divide us.

- Gavin’s hair is wavy. It’s only the longer bits that appear more straight looking. The shorter hairs wave and curl. Short hairs close to the head are difficult to tame and often reshape despite efforts of gels.

             CONCLUSION: Gavin’s hair is wavy. This is likely most evident when he just wakes up in the morning, or hasn’t had a haircut in a long time.

- Gavin’s skin is an olive tone. There’s no pink and it leans towards tan, though it has that green-gray look that lands it in olive.

            CONCLUSION: Olive tones, tan, and possibly leaning towards italian or latin descent.

- Gavin’s skin isn’t free of marks. Though he has his prominant scar (which I’ll get to), and likely has others, his skin is marked in a different way. On all available skin there are a few scattered large freckles, and a some small areas of tiny clustered freckles.

              CONCLUSION: Gavin Reed has freckles. Likely spends a lot of time in the sun. (Likely that this time is spent with no sunscreen.)

- Gavin’s hair is a mousey colour. This means that insted of leaning on the black, blonde, or red spectrum of browns, he has a gray undertone to his hair. This gives it a light quality, that can also add to him possibly looking younger than he is.

              CONCLUSION: The colour of Gavin’s hair lands more in the gray, mousey, shades. He may go gray more quickly, but also less noticeably. The brightness may also be attributed to long exposure to sunlight.

- Gavin’s lips are fairly full and well coloured. There’s a noticeably more pink/redish natural tint to them. This can be an appealing feature, especially since ones eyes may be drawn to his lips upon the initial glance at his face.

                  CONCLUSION: Gavin has very nice lips. A highly pronounced cupids bow and a natural tint that may leave you beleaving he has on a low pigment Chapstick.

- Gavin’s eyes lean green. The detectives eyes are gray in all matters of the colour. They’re tark enough to stand out, rather that to fall towards a powdery blue that lighter grays can fall into. In fact, his darker gray leans more favourably to a green tint rather than a blue one. These richen the colour and could possibly make his eyes look black when his pupils are expanded or even from a large distance.

                CONCLUSION: Gavin’s eyes lean green. They likely appear slightly different depending on the levels of light. His eyes would be complemented by dark, earthy colours.

- Gavin has a lot of small scars on his face. There are about 7 of them (inclusing the large one), though they’re small and hard to notice. There is one (1)above his upper lip, ending just below the tip of his nose. There’s another small scar (2) on the opposite side of the large one that’s tilted in the same direction and almost reaches to his eye. There’s a small scar on both eyebrows. On goes perpendicular (3), and the other goes along the arch (4) of the eyebrow as though extending it. There’s another very small scar going along the curve on the side of his mouth (5). There’s another tiny scar just below his bottom lip (6). His large scar also seems to extend across the bridge of his nose and all the way up to the corner of his eye. It looks almost as though it may have narrowly missed cutting open his tear duct (7).

               CONCLUSION: Gavin has a lot of scars. Many of them are hard to notice as they are small and are hidden by hair and middle skin tones. The way that they are scattered are reminiscent of the day that scars would be scattered with shattered glass, though that’s only a theory and observation.

- Gavin is broad and square/rectangular shaped. His body is conventionally attractive, and his body shape insinuates that he is fit and well built. His face is also ‘diamond’ shaped. He also has high cheek bones and a strong jaw.

             CONCLUSION: Gavin Reed is conventionally attractive. He’s likely fit and has a medium to bulky build.

- Gavin isn’t short. He’s actually of average height for men above the age of 20 in the U.S. Connor stands only 3 inches taller than him (which wouldn’t make him seem all that much taller in most interactions). Hank is 6 inches taller than him, and he would have to look up into the older man’s eyes. RK900, after looking at many comparisons and as there are no specified height indications, appears to be taller than Connor and likely the same height as Hank, putting him at least 6 inches taller thab Gavin. However, Gavin is taller than Perkins by 4 inches (Perkins is about 5'5"). He’s also 3 inches taller than Chris Miller, 5 inches taller than Ben Collins, and 2 inches taller than Leo to name a few.

                  CONCLUSION: Gavin Reed is of average height, and is taller or just under the average height of many of the characters.
