I think there’s a place in LA still showing, other than that the more recent stuff was during my trip to Australia. Yeah, I’ve basically grown up around stylists and photographers and the pap anyways so it wasn’t that big of a jump from my day to day when I wasn’t working. Though it took me a little while to stop being booked as Audrey Ramirez’s daughter.  Great! I’ll have my manager set something up, call you to work out times, it’ll be tons of fun. 

Oh god, I wouldn’t wish that on anyone. Your siblings too, it’s terrible thinking you’re about to lose a family member before they’ve really had a chance to start their lives, before you get to see them grow up and have a happy life. Well, I’ve never walked any shows. I’ve mostly been doing sittings for artists so there’s a few names or galleries I can think off. I don’t have an agent right now, I did but they were beyond useless. One step up from a scammer tbh but they got me just enough jobs that I had some friends in the know, ya know? It’s mostly through social media I hype myself. I’m on insta @deafgalmodels and I’ve got a decent amount of followers but nothing earth shattering.

My parents kinda thought I’d stay close to home and stuff because of my illness and deafness so I kinda broke mom’s heart by being independent? I guess she never expected her youngest to fly the nest. I love her but that’s kinda suffocating, ya know? 

I’m at The Fresher and Professor, the student pub on the edge of campus. Just down from the big campus main entrance with the fancy sign? 

Sorry you have to deal with that shit, people fucking suck.  Yo, I’ve never done gallery work, that’s so cool! If you have any still on display right now that would be so cool to check out! Oh, I’ve heard about those really bad agents before. My mom hooked me up with mine, so I’ve always know I could trust her, you know? Honestly I couldn’t thank her enough for everything she does.  Instagram models have really been up and coming though, like I did a shoot for gucci with someone who was just throught IG. I’m definitely gonna follow you though.  We should set up shoot together, that’d be so much fun! I haven’t done a for fun shoot in so long.  I mean unless you count those paycations, but like that’s still work. Oh god I know exactly what you mean.  Well probably not exactly because my overbearing mother just comes from her wanting the perfect socialite daughter but still, you have to be your own person. I haven’t spent much time actually on that campus, but I think I know where you mean.  I’ll for sure come see you.

Ugh, I could die of jealousy!  I’ve dabbled in acting but modelling and fashion are more fun to me.

Still, that they exist at all is kinda bullshit if you ask me.  That’s true, but like also that was my one chance and I wasted in being professional and walking instead.  I’ve done New York, Paris and Milan fashion weeks, but that’s pretty much the whole of the runway I do, I’m really more partial to photoshoots, but what your agent says you do, right? Acting was never an option for me, think I broke my mom’s heart first time I was in a school play.  Any spreads I would have seen you in? Well I definitely will if you give me the name of that bar.

Better make it two, like some kids are just gonna take one little piece when there’s an entire bowl set out for them. Invite someone over, kinda makes Halloween funner if you ask me. Or throw a party and make the kids leave you alone.

Yeah, that’s true. I sure as hell wasn’t only taking one piece. Oh god, I can’t throw a party, because if I leave one person off the invite list just because I forgot it’s going to be a whole thing, and I don not need a buzzfeed article proclaiming beef between me an one of my other big name friends, like no, I’m just forgetful and tired. Plus everyone pencils in their halloween parties like months in advance. I’m just gonna chill by myself, I guess. 

Expect a bunch of them though, or you could just act like you’re not home. Like, have a little set up with horror flicks in the dark and keep all your lights off. That’s what I used to do when I wasn’t out causing havoc, haha.

I’m not opening my gates, fuck it. I’ll put a bowl of candy out by the gates and just stay in my back rooms until all these fucking clowns go away.  I would go with your suggestion, except I wanna go to sleep that night. 

Stupid? Yeah but think about it, how many actors or models are deaf? Only a handful. ‘Imperfect’ or ‘defective’ isn’t attractive to the ‘normal people’ especially people like me who was born hearing. I’m a reminder that anyone can become disabled, lots of people don’t like that. Assholes. 

Luckily, I still get some modelling jobs but not to the level I’d like.

Her, not you sweets. You definitely have a point though. I can only think of one, and that’s definitely not because I just stalk Nyle on instagram. I’ve been dying to get a shoot with him since Milan Fashion week, he’s so pretty up close. Didn’t get to talk to him though, just passed him. I was upset about it the for like a week after getting home. But honestly? That kind of person can get fucked. I’m real sorry you’ve got to deal with that kind of bullshit.

That’s amazing, even I can’t get my hands on those. New money doesn’t have the same rep in the art world and all I’m a bigger fan of Dali though, surrealism is my absolute favorite.”
