22 may 2020 | ah … been a while
finished song of solomon last week, and tar baby this week. after the final page, definitely digging song of solomon! tar baby … fell flat after the first 100 pages or so. really flat … blah blah blah it was the 80s idc! + the transphobic lines in the last third (idk if she was in Son’s mind or just writing) … 0 bars. i was confused to say the least.
in non-reading related news, i undid all of my acnh spanish immersion by playing fire emblem three houses yesterday! i’m on the golden deer route and enjoying it, which is saying a lot since i’ve never played a strategy rpg thingy before.

The library of my uni has reopened and you can now book a place to study for 3 hours per day. It's so nice to be able to study there again!

✨ Sun ✨ What is the most important phrase in your native language that someone should know?
for english, i would definitely say that any expressions asking for help will definitely be very useful when you are a beginner: Can you give me a hand with this? or Please could you explain this to me?
for welsh, (not a native speaker) the phrase i always teach people is: Dw i’n hoffi coffi! (i like coffee). it is pretty much useless in a conversation but it’s just the most iconic welsh phrase for me

guess who’s an idiot and ran out of paper so decided to rewrite their entire stellar notes into a notebook? me! usually i wouldn’t be bothered to but its actually really helped me take in the material :)
24/07 - Good Morning! The semester has officially started and we had our first environmental architecture lecture! It’s going to be an interesting and challenging semester… currently writing notes and drinking tea with my study playlist! can’t wait to start posting more!

Tue - What's the most daring thing you've ever done?
Crossing a small, deep river in a cave. On foot. Water was cold and reached our necks, we had to duck because right above our heads were stalactites, on top of that I had just realized I was a little claustrophobic. But it was a fun experience :)

A new coffee bean just opened and I just love the interiors and the lighting! And it’s just right across from where I live. Finally, a new study place! Idk why but I’m not a huge fan of their coffee though.
I will be trying my best to be active again. I’m now in my 3rd year of law school. I started my studyblr during my first year and it has helped me de-stress from my law school life.
Super duper thankful of the upperclassmen and seniors who willingly share their notes with us! You are the real MVPs! Wouldn’t survive law school without you guys!
