Craft night/ breakfast call with Jess🌈Jess’s project was to hem her jumpsuits (yeah, multiple)😁 and mine was to repaint this old jacket that I don’t wear that much. I guess this weasel felt a bit too weird, I should’ve thought it over more when I decided to paint a weasel🙆🏻‍♀️ but now I’m super pumped about this jacket!💃🏻of course I couldn’t do it without all of Totoro’s help😼

This year I was lucky again to have my art featured on the cover of the Beijing Kids Home & Relocation Guide🙆🏻‍♀️ It’s fun and exciting to see an idea coming from my head ending up on the cover of a magazine🥰✨

A painting commissioned by a lovely couple😊 Beijing Hash House Harriers, a drink and run club brought them together 🏃‍♀️ 🍻❤️🏃 I hope this painting will help them to keep those amazing memories of Beijing alive for years and years to come 😌

Another successful craft night! I tried the porcelain markers💛💜💖💙 You just paint with them, wait 4 hours to dry and then bake the plates in the oven for 30 min⏰ I used Annie’s plates😊 The phrase”Das ni genoeg” means “it’s not enough” in Flemish, we tell Totoro “Das genoeg” all the time so he doesn’t eat too much and too fast, we say it so often, that Totoro actually understands the meaning and stops eating 😁

The painting I did for Jomart and his beautiful family👨🏻👧🏻🧒🏻👩🏻 Now is the best time in Beijing to enjoy long walks along the Liangma River, Hutongs and parks full of cherry blossoms🌸 If you would like to commission a piece, this year I only accept commissions in May-July, May and June are already fully booked✔️
